Acts 5:1 - But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property,
Acts 5:2 - and with his wife’s knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Acts 5:3 - But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?
Acts 5:4 - While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”
Acts 5:5 - When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.
Acts 5:6 - The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him.
Acts 5:7 - After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.
Acts 5:8 - And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.”
Acts 5:9 - But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”
Acts 5:10 - Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.
2 Peter 2:1 - But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:2 - And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.
2 Peter 2:3 - And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
2 Corinthians 12:20 - For I fear that perhaps when I come I may find you not as I wish, and that you may find me not as you wish—that perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, anger, hostility, slander, gossip, conceit, and disorder.
2 Corinthians 12:21 - I fear that when I come again my God may humble me before you, and I may have to mourn over many of those who sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and sensuality that they have practiced.

2 Timothy 4:3 - For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,
2 Timothy 4:4 - and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.
John 15:6 - If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.
2 Timothy 3:2 - For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 - heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
2 Timothy 3:4 - treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2 Timothy 3:5 - having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
1 Corinthians 5:1 - It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father’s wife.
1 Corinthians 5:2 - And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.
1 Corinthians 5:3 - For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing.
1 Corinthians 5:4 - When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus,
1 Corinthians 5:5 - you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 5:6 - Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
1 Corinthians 10:1 - For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,
1 Corinthians 10:2 - and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea,
1 Corinthians 10:3 - and all ate the same spiritual food,
1 Corinthians 10:4 - and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.
1 Corinthians 10:5 - Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
1 Corinthians 10:6 - Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did.
1 Corinthians 10:7 - Do not be idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.”
1 Corinthians 10:8 - We must not indulge in sexual immorality as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in a single day.
1 Corinthians 10:9 - We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did and were destroyed by serpents,
1 Corinthians 10:10 - nor grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer.
1 Corinthians 10:11 - Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come.
1 Corinthians 10:12 - Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.
Mark 1:17 - And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”

Matthew 13:29 - But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them.
Matthew 13:30 - Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”
Luke 14:21 - So the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’
Luke 14:22 - And the servant said, ‘Sir, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’
Luke 14:23 - And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.
2 Corinthians 11:13 - For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:14 - And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:15 - So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
Matthew 22:9 - Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’
Matthew 22:10 - And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.
2 Peter 2:13 - suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you.
2 Peter 2:14 - They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!
2 Peter 2:15 - Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing,
2 Peter 2:16 - but was rebuked for his own transgression; a speechless donkey spoke with human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.
2 Peter 2:17 - These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm. For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved.
2 Peter 2:18 - For, speaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error.
2 Peter 2:19 - They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.
2 Peter 2:20 - For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
2 Peter 2:21 - For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
2 Peter 2:22 - What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”
Matthew 4:19 - And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
