  • Ezekiel 40:9 - it was eight cubits deep and its jambs were two cubits thick. The portico of the gateway faced the temple.
  • Ezekiel 40:10 - Inside the east gate were three alcoves on each side; the three had the same measurements, and the faces of the projecting walls on each side had the same measurements.
  • Ezekiel 40:11 - Then he measured the width of the entrance of the gateway; it was ten cubits and its length was thirteen cubits.
  • Ezekiel 40:12 - In front of each alcove was a wall one cubit high, and the alcoves were six cubits square.
  • Ezekiel 40:13 - Then he measured the gateway from the top of the rear wall of one alcove to the top of the opposite one; the distance was twenty-five cubits from one parapet opening to the opposite one.
  • Ezekiel 40:14 - He measured along the faces of the projecting walls all around the inside of the gateway—sixty cubits. The measurement was up to the portico facing the courtyard.
  • Ezekiel 40:15 - The distance from the entrance of the gateway to the far end of its portico was fifty cubits.
  • Ezekiel 40:16 - The alcoves and the projecting walls inside the gateway were surmounted by narrow parapet openings all around, as was the portico; the openings all around faced inward. The faces of the projecting walls were decorated with palm trees.
  • Ezekiel 40:17 - Then he brought me into the outer court. There I saw some rooms and a pavement that had been constructed all around the court; there were thirty rooms along the pavement.
  • Ezekiel 40:18 - It abutted the sides of the gateways and was as wide as they were long; this was the lower pavement.
  • Ezekiel 40:19 - Then he measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner court; it was a hundred cubits on the east side as well as on the north.
  • Ezekiel 40:20 - Then he measured the length and width of the north gate, leading into the outer court.
  • Ezekiel 40:21 - Its alcoves—three on each side—its projecting walls and its portico had the same measurements as those of the first gateway. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.
  • Ezekiel 40:22 - Its openings, its portico and its palm tree decorations had the same measurements as those of the gate facing east. Seven steps led up to it, with its portico opposite them.

  • Ezekiel 37:28 - Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.’ ”

  • Ezekiel 40:9 - it was eight cubits deep and its jambs were two cubits thick. The portico of the gateway faced the temple.

  • Ezekiel 40:17 - Then he brought me into the outer court. There I saw some rooms and a pavement that had been constructed all around the court; there were thirty rooms along the pavement.
  • Ezekiel 40:18 - It abutted the sides of the gateways and was as wide as they were long; this was the lower pavement.
  • Ezekiel 40:19 - Then he measured the distance from the inside of the lower gateway to the outside of the inner court; it was a hundred cubits on the east side as well as on the north.
  • Ezekiel 40:20 - Then he measured the length and width of the north gate, leading into the outer court.
  • Ezekiel 40:21 - Its alcoves—three on each side—its projecting walls and its portico had the same measurements as those of the first gateway. It was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

  • Ezekiel 40:42 - There were also four tables of dressed stone for the burnt offerings, each a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide and a cubit high. On them were placed the utensils for slaughtering the burnt offerings and the other sacrifices.
  • Ezekiel 40:43 - And double-pronged hooks, each a handbreadth long, were attached to the wall all around. The tables were for the flesh of the offerings.

  • Jeremiah 31:12 - They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord— the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more.
  • Jeremiah 31:13 - Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.
  • Isaiah 59:20 - “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord.
  • Isaiah 59:21 - “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.

  • Jeremiah 3:17 - At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the Lord, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the Lord. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts.
  • Isaiah 49:14 - But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me.”
  • Isaiah 49:15 - “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

  • Isaiah 49:18 - Lift up your eyes and look around; all your children gather and come to you. As surely as I live,” declares the Lord, “you will wear them all as ornaments; you will put them on, like a bride.
  • Isaiah 49:19 - “Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land laid waste, now you will be too small for your people, and those who devoured you will be far away.
  • Isaiah 49:20 - The children born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, ‘This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.’
  • Isaiah 49:21 - Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who bore me these? I was bereaved and barren; I was exiled and rejected. Who brought these up? I was left all alone, but these—where have they come from?’ ”
  • Isaiah 49:22 - This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I will beckon to the nations, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their hips.
  • Isaiah 49:23 - Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.”
  • Isaiah 49:24 - Can plunder be taken from warriors, or captives be rescued from the fierce ?
  • Isaiah 49:25 - But this is what the Lord says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.
  • Isaiah 49:26 - I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”
  • Isaiah 61:3 - and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
  • Isaiah 61:4 - They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
  • Isaiah 61:5 - Strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
  • Isaiah 61:6 - And you will be called priests of the Lord, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.
  • Isaiah 61:7 - Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.
  • Isaiah 61:8 - “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.
  • Isaiah 61:9 - Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”
  • Isaiah 61:10 - I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
  • Isaiah 61:11 - For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.
  • Isaiah 12:6 - Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
  • Psalm 125:1 - Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
  • Psalm 125:2 - As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
  • Isaiah 54:2 - “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.

  • Isaiah 54:6 - The Lord will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit— a wife who married young, only to be rejected,” says your God.
  • Isaiah 54:7 - “For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
  • Isaiah 54:8 - In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord your Redeemer.
  • Isaiah 54:9 - “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.
  • Isaiah 54:10 - Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
  • Ezekiel 37:27 - My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.
  • Ezekiel 37:28 - Then the nations will know that I the Lord make Israel holy, when my sanctuary is among them forever.’ ”

  • Revelation 21:19 - The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,
  • Revelation 21:20 - the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.
  • Revelation 21:21 - The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.
  • Revelation 21:22 - I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
  • Revelation 21:23 - The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
  • Revelation 21:24 - The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it.
  • Revelation 21:25 - On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there.
  • Revelation 21:26 - The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it.
  • Revelation 21:27 - Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
  • Psalm 48:2 - Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King.
  • Psalm 48:3 - God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress.

  • Hebrews 12:23 - to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,
  • Ezekiel 36:11 - I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
  • Ezekiel 36:12 - I will cause people, my people Israel, to live on you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again deprive them of their children.
  • Ezekiel 36:13 - “ ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because some say to you, “You devour people and deprive your nation of its children,”
  • Ezekiel 36:14 - therefore you will no longer devour people or make your nation childless, declares the Sovereign Lord.
  • Ezekiel 36:15 - No longer will I make you hear the taunts of the nations, and no longer will you suffer the scorn of the peoples or cause your nation to fall, declares the Sovereign Lord.’ ”
  • Ezekiel 36:16 - Again the word of the Lord came to me:
  • Ezekiel 36:17 - “Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight.
  • Ezekiel 36:18 - So I poured out my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols.
  • Ezekiel 36:19 - I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions.
  • Ezekiel 36:20 - And wherever they went among the nations they profaned my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’
  • Ezekiel 36:21 - I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone.
  • Ezekiel 36:22 - “Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.
  • Ezekiel 36:23 - I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.
  • Ezekiel 36:24 - “ ‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.
  • Ezekiel 36:25 - I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols.
  • Ezekiel 36:26 - I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
  • Ezekiel 36:27 - And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
  • Ezekiel 36:28 - Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God.
  • Ezekiel 36:29 - I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you.
  • Ezekiel 36:30 - I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine.
  • Ezekiel 36:31 - Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds, and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices.
  • Ezekiel 36:32 - I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the Sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, people of Israel!
  • Ezekiel 36:33 - “ ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt.
  • Ezekiel 36:34 - The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it.
  • Ezekiel 36:35 - They will say, “This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.”
  • Ezekiel 36:36 - Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.’
  • Ezekiel 36:37 - “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Once again I will yield to Israel’s plea and do this for them: I will make their people as numerous as sheep,
  • Ezekiel 36:38 - as numerous as the flocks for offerings at Jerusalem during her appointed festivals. So will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
