Jeremías 7:23 - Lo que sí les ordené fue lo siguiente: ‘Obedézcanme. Así yo seré su Dios, y ustedes serán mi pueblo. Condúzcanse conforme a todo lo que yo les ordene, a fin de que les vaya bien’.
Isaías 58:5 - ¿Acaso el ayuno que he escogido es solo un día para que el hombre se mortifique? ¿Y solo para que incline la cabeza como un junco, haga duelo y se cubra de ceniza? ¿A eso llaman ustedes día de ayuno y el día aceptable al Señor?
Isaías 58:6 - »El ayuno que he escogido, ¿no es más bien romper las cadenas de injusticia y desatar las correas del yugo, poner en libertad a los oprimidos y romper toda atadura?
Isaías 58:7 - ¿No es acaso el ayuno compartir tu pan con el hambriento y dar refugio a los pobres sin techo, vestir al desnudo y no dejar de lado a tus semejantes?
Isaías 1:11 - «¿De qué me sirven sus muchos sacrificios? —dice el Señor—. Harto estoy de holocaustos de carneros y de la grasa de animales engordados; la sangre de toros, corderos y cabras no me complace.
Isaías 1:12 - ¿Por qué vienen a presentarse ante mí? ¿Quién les mandó traer animales para que pisotearan mis atrios?
Isaías 1:13 - No me sigan trayendo vanas ofrendas; el incienso es para mí una abominación. Luna nueva, día de reposo, asambleas convocadas; ¡no soporto que con su adoración me ofendan!
Isaías 1:14 - Yo aborrezco sus lunas nuevas y festividades; se me han vuelto una carga que estoy cansado de soportar.
Isaías 1:15 - Cuando levantan sus manos, yo aparto de ustedes mis ojos; aunque multipliquen sus oraciones, no las escucharé, pues tienen las manos llenas de sangre.
Isaías 1:16 - ¡Lávense, límpiense! ¡Aparten de mi vista sus obras malvadas! ¡Dejen de hacer el mal!
Isaías 1:17 - ¡Aprendan a hacer el bien! ¡Busquen la justicia y reprendan al opresor! ¡Aboguen por el huérfano y defiendan a la viuda!
Hebreos 10:8 - Primero dijo: «Sacrificios y ofrendas, holocaustos y expiaciones no te complacen ni fueron de tu agrado» (a pesar de que la ley exigía que se ofrecieran).
Salmo 50:8 - No te reprendo por tus sacrificios ni por tus holocaustos, que siempre me ofreces.
Salmo 50:9 - No necesito becerros de tu establo ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos,
Salmo 50:10 - pues míos son los animales del bosque, y mío también el ganado de los cerros.

Salmo 50:13 - ¿Acaso me alimento con carne de toros, o con sangre de machos cabríos?
Salmo 50:14 - ¡Ofrece a Dios tu gratitud, cumple tus promesas al Altísimo!
Salmo 50:15 - Invócame en el día de la angustia; yo te libraré y tú me honrarás».
1 Corintios 13:1 - Si hablo en lenguas humanas y angelicales, pero no tengo amor, no soy más que un metal que resuena o un platillo que hace ruido.
1 Corintios 13:2 - Si tengo el don de profecía y entiendo todos los misterios y poseo todo conocimiento, y si tengo una fe que logra trasladar montañas, pero me falta el amor, no soy nada.
1 Corintios 13:3 - Si reparto entre los pobres todo lo que poseo, y si entrego mi cuerpo para que lo consuman las llamas, pero no tengo amor, nada gano con eso.
Mateo 9:13 - Pero vayan y aprendan qué significa esto: “Lo que pido de ustedes es misericordia y no sacrificios”. Porque no he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores.
Mateo 12:7 - Si ustedes supieran qué significa esto: “Lo que pido de ustedes es misericordia y no sacrificios”, no condenarían a los que no son culpables.
1 Samuel 15:22 - Samuel respondió: «¿Qué le agrada más al Señor: que se le ofrezcan holocaustos y sacrificios, o que se obedezca lo que él dice? El obedecer vale más que el sacrificio, y el prestar atención, más que la grasa de carneros.
Oseas 6:6 - Lo que pido de ustedes es amor y no sacrificios, conocimiento de Dios y no holocaustos.
Miqueas 6:6 - ¿Cómo podré acercarme al Señor y postrarme ante el Dios Altísimo? ¿Podré presentarme con holocaustos o con becerros de un año?
Miqueas 6:7 - ¿Se complacerá el Señor con miles de carneros, o con diez mil arroyos de aceite? ¿Ofreceré a mi primogénito por mi delito, al fruto de mis entrañas por mi pecado?
Miqueas 6:8 - ¡Ya se te ha declarado lo que es bueno! Ya se te ha dicho lo que de ti espera el Señor: Practicar la justicia, amar la misericordia, y humillarte ante tu Dios.
