Lamentations 1:8 - Jerusalem committed terrible sin; therefore she became an object of scorn. All who admired her have despised her because they have seen her nakedness. She groans aloud and turns away in shame. ט (Tet)
Lamentations 2:15 - All who passed by on the road clapped their hands to mock you. They sneered and shook their heads at Daughter Jerusalem. “Ha! Is this the city they called ‘The perfection of beauty, the source of joy of the whole earth!’?” פ (Pe)
Lamentations 2:16 - All your enemies gloated over you. They sneered and gnashed their teeth; they said, “We have destroyed her! Ha! We have waited a long time for this day. We have lived to see it!” ע (Ayin)
Lamentations 2:17 - The Lord has done what he planned; he has fulfilled his promise that he threatened long ago: He has overthrown you without mercy and has enabled the enemy to gloat over you; he has exalted your adversaries’ power. צ (Tsade)
Isaiah 42:24 - Who handed Jacob over to the robber? Who handed Israel over to the looters? Was it not the Lord, against whom we sinned? They refused to follow his commands; they disobeyed his law.
Deuteronomy 31:17 - At that time my anger will erupt against them and I will abandon them and hide my face from them until they are devoured. Many disasters and distresses will overcome them so that they will say at that time, ‘Have not these disasters overcome us because our God is not among us ?’
Deuteronomy 31:18 - But I will certainly hide myself at that time because of all the wickedness they will have done by turning to other gods.
Judges 3:8 - The Lord was furious with Israel and turned them over to King Cushan-Rishathaim of Aram-Naharaim. They were Cushan-Rishathaim’s subjects for eight years.

Jeremiah 40:3 - Now he has brought it about. The Lord has done just as he threatened to do. This disaster has happened because you people sinned against the Lord and did not obey him.

Ezekiel 36:20 - But when they arrived in the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name. It was said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, yet they have departed from his land.’
Ezekiel 36:21 - I was concerned for my holy reputation which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they went.
Ezekiel 36:22 - “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake that I am about to act, O house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy reputation which you profaned among the nations where you went.
Ezekiel 36:23 - I will magnify my great name that has been profaned among the nations, that you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the sovereign Lord, when I magnify myself among you in their sight.
Deuteronomy 32:30 - How can one man chase a thousand of them, and two pursue ten thousand; unless their Rock had delivered them up, and the Lord had handed them over?
Ezekiel 36:36 - Then the nations which remain around you will know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruins and replanted what was desolate. I, the Lord, have spoken – and I will do it!’
Judges 2:14 - The Lord was furious with Israel and handed them over to robbers who plundered them. He turned them over to their enemies who lived around them. They could not withstand their enemies’ attacks.
Isaiah 8:17 - I will wait patiently for the Lord, who has rejected the family of Jacob; I will wait for him.
Psalms 30:7 - O Lord, in your good favor you made me secure. Then you rejected me and I was terrified.
Psalms 10:1 - Why, Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you pay no attention during times of trouble?
Jeremiah 33:5 - ‘The defenders of the city will go out and fight with the Babylonians. But they will only fill those houses and buildings with the dead bodies of the people that I will kill in my anger and my wrath. That will happen because I have decided to turn my back on this city on account of the wicked things they have done.
Deuteronomy 32:20 - He said, “I will reject them, I will see what will happen to them; for they are a perverse generation, children who show no loyalty.
Leviticus 26:25 - I will bring on you an avenging sword, a covenant vengeance. Although you will gather together into your cities, I will send pestilence among you and you will be given into enemy hands.
Ezekiel 39:29 - I will no longer hide my face from them, when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the sovereign Lord.”
Jeremiah 22:8 - “‘People from other nations will pass by this city. They will ask one another, “Why has the Lord done such a thing to this great city?”
Jeremiah 22:9 - The answer will come back, “It is because they broke their covenant with the Lord their God and worshiped and served other gods.”
Isaiah 59:2 - But your sinful acts have alienated you from your God; your sins have caused him to reject you and not listen to your prayers.
Isaiah 1:15 - When you spread out your hands in prayer, I look the other way; when you offer your many prayers, I do not listen, because your hands are covered with blood.
