  • Titus 3:3 - At one time we too acted like fools. We didn’t obey God. We were tricked. We were controlled by all kinds of desires and pleasures. We were full of evil. We wanted what belongs to others. People hated us, and we hated one another.
  • Titus 3:4 - But the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared.
  • Titus 3:5 - He saved us. It wasn’t because of the good things we had done. It was because of his mercy. He saved us by washing away our sins. We were born again. The Holy Spirit gave us new life.
  • Titus 3:6 - God poured out the Spirit on us freely. That’s because of what Jesus Christ our Savior has done.
  • 2 Peter 2:20 - They may have escaped the sin of the world. They may have come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But what if they are once again caught up in sin? And what if it has become their master? Then they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
  • Matthew 21:9 - Some of the people went ahead of him, and some followed. They all shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” ( Psalm 118:26 ) “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
  • Acts 4:12 - You can’t be saved by believing in anyone else. God has given people no other name under heaven that will save them.”
  • Matthew 1:21 - She is going to have a son. You must give him the name Jesus. That’s because he will save his people from their sins.”

  • John 7:42 - Doesn’t Scripture say that the Messiah will come from the family line of David? Doesn’t it say that he will come from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?”
  • Psalm 89:35 - Once and for all, I have made a promise. It is based on my holiness. And I will not lie to David.
  • Psalm 89:36 - His family line will continue forever. His kingdom will last as long as the sun.
  • Psalm 89:37 - It will last forever like the moon, that faithful witness in the sky.”
  • Acts 5:30 - You had Jesus killed by nailing him to a cross. But the God of our people raised Jesus from the dead.
  • Acts 5:31 - Now Jesus is Prince and Savior. God has proved this by giving Jesus a place of honor with him. He did it to turn Israel away from their sins and forgive them.
  • Amos 9:11 - “The time will come when I will set up David’s fallen shelter. I will repair its broken walls. I will rebuild what was destroyed. I will make it what it used to be.
  • Titus 1:4 - Titus, I am sending you this letter. You are my true son in the faith we share. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior give you grace and peace.
  • Romans 1:3 - The good news is about God’s Son. He was born into the family line of King David.

  • Zechariah 9:9 - “City of Zion, be full of joy! People of Jerusalem, shout! See, your king comes to you. He always does what is right. He has won the victory. He is humble and riding on a donkey. He is sitting on a donkey’s colt.

  • 2 Peter 1:1 - I, Simon Peter, am writing this letter. I serve Jesus Christ. I am his apostle. I am sending this letter to you. You are those who have received a faith as valuable as ours. You received it because our God and Savior Jesus Christ does what is right.
  • Isaiah 43:11 - I am the one and only Lord. I am the only one who can save you.
  • Romans 11:26 - In this way all Israel will be saved. It is written, “The God who saves will come from Mount Zion. He will remove sin from Jacob’s family.

  • Jeremiah 33:15 - “Here is what I will do in those days and at that time. I will make a godly Branch grow from David’s royal line. He will do what is fair and right in the land.

  • Acts 2:32 - God has raised this same Jesus back to life. We are all witnesses of this.
  • Acts 2:33 - Jesus has been given a place of honor at the right hand of God. He has received the Holy Spirit from the Father. This is what God had promised. It is Jesus who has poured out what you now see and hear.
  • Acts 2:34 - David did not go up to heaven. But he said, “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand.
  • Acts 2:35 - I will put your enemies under your control.” ’ ( Psalm 110:1 )
  • Acts 2:36 - “So be sure of this, all you people of Israel. You nailed Jesus to the cross. But God has made him both Lord and Messiah.”
  • Jude 1:25 - Give praise to the only God our Savior. Glory, majesty, power and authority belong to him. Give praise to him through Jesus Christ our Lord. His praise was before all time, continues now, and will last forever. Amen.
