  • Jeremiah 30:18 - “This is what the Lord says: “ ‘I will restore the fortunes of Jacob’s tents and have compassion on his dwellings; the city will be rebuilt on her ruins, and the palace will stand in its proper place.
  • Jeremiah 30:19 - From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing. I will add to their numbers, and they will not be decreased; I will bring them honor, and they will not be disdained.
  • Ezekiel 36:10 - and I will cause many people to live on you—yes, all of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt.
  • Ezekiel 36:11 - I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
  • Jeremiah 33:22 - I will make the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister before me as countless as the stars in the sky and as measureless as the sand on the seashore.’ ”
  • Jeremiah 31:27 - “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals.
  • Isaiah 44:26 - who carries out the words of his servants and fulfills the predictions of his messengers, who says of Jerusalem, ‘It shall be inhabited,’ of the towns of Judah, ‘They shall be rebuilt,’ and of their ruins, ‘I will restore them,’
  • Zechariah 14:10 - The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised up high from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses, and will remain in its place.
  • Zechariah 14:11 - It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.
  • Zechariah 8:4 - This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with cane in hand because of their age.
  • Zechariah 8:5 - The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there.”
  • Isaiah 49:20 - The children born during your bereavement will yet say in your hearing, ‘This place is too small for us; give us more space to live in.’
  • Micah 7:11 - The day for building your walls will come, the day for extending your boundaries.
  • Zechariah 12:6 - “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.
  • Ezekiel 38:11 - You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.
  • Zechariah 1:17 - “Proclaim further: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘My towns will again overflow with prosperity, and the Lord will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.’ ”
