Genesis 37:8 - His brothers said to him, “Are you actually going to reign over us? Are you really going to rule and govern us as your subjects?” So they hated him even more for [telling them about] his dreams and for his [arrogant] words.
Genesis 37:9 - But Joseph dreamed still another dream, and told it to his brothers [as well]. He said, “See here, I have again dreamed a dream, and lo, [this time I saw] eleven stars and the sun and the moon bowed down [in respect] to me!”
Exodus 3:19 - But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless [he is forced] by a strong hand.
Exodus 14:5 - When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his servants had a change of heart toward the people, and they said, “What is this that we have done? We have let Israel go from serving us!”
Genesis 44:1 - And he commanded the steward of his house, saying, “Fill the men’s sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put every man’s [grain] money in the mouth of the sack.
Genesis 44:2 - Put my [personal] cup, the silver cup, in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, with his grain money.” And the steward did as Joseph had told him.
Genesis 44:3 - As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away, they and their donkeys.
Genesis 44:4 - When they had left the city, and were not yet far away, Joseph said to his steward, “Get up, follow after the men; and when you overtake them, say to them, ‘Why have you repaid evil [to us] for good [paid to you]?
Genesis 44:5 - Is this not my lord’s drinking cup and the one which he uses for divination? You have done [a great and unforgivable] wrong in doing this.’ ”
Genesis 44:6 - So the steward overtook them and he said these words to them.
Genesis 44:7 - They said to him, “Why does my lord speak these things? Far be it from your servants to do such a thing!
Genesis 44:8 - Please remember, the money which we found in the mouths of our sacks we have brought back to you from the land of Canaan. Is it likely then that we would steal silver or gold from your master’s house?
Genesis 44:9 - With whomever of your servants your master’s cup is found, let him die, and the rest of us will be my lord’s slaves.”
Genesis 44:10 - And the steward said, “Now let it be as you say; he with whom the cup is found will be my slave, but the rest of you shall be blameless.”
Genesis 44:11 - Then every man quickly lowered his sack to the ground and each man opened his sack [confident the cup would not be found among them].
Genesis 44:12 - The steward searched, beginning with the eldest and ending with the youngest, and the cup was found in Benjamin’s sack.
Genesis 44:13 - Then they tore their clothes [in grief]; and after each man had loaded his donkey again, they returned to the city.
Genesis 44:14 - When Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, he was still there; and they fell to the ground before him.
Genesis 50:18 - Then his brothers went and fell down before him [in confession]; then they said, “Behold, we are your servants (slaves).”

1 Kings 13:32 - For the words which he cried out by the word of the Lord against the altar in Bethel and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria shall certainly come to pass.”

Acts 2:23 - this Man, when handed over [to the Roman authorities] according to the predetermined decision and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross and put to death by the hands of lawless and godless men.
2 Kings 8:10 - And Elisha said to him, “Go, say to him, ‘You will certainly recover,’ but the Lord has shown me that he will certainly die.”
2 Kings 8:11 - Elisha stared steadily at Hazael until he was embarrassed, and then the man of God wept.
2 Kings 8:12 - Hazael said, “Why are you weeping, my lord?” He answered, “Because I know the evil that you will do to the sons (descendants) of Israel. You will set their strongholds on fire, kill their young men with the sword, smash their children to pieces, and rip up their pregnant women.”
2 Kings 8:13 - Then Hazael said, “Surely not! For what is your servant, who is nothing more than a dog, that he would do this monstrous thing?” And Elisha answered, “The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”
2 Kings 8:14 - Then Hazael departed from Elisha and came to his master, who said to him, “What did Elisha say to you?” And he answered, “He told me you would certainly recover.”
2 Kings 8:15 - But the next day Hazael took the bedspread and dipped it in water and covered the king’s face, so that he died. And Hazael became king in his place.
Matthew 26:69 - Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came up to him and said, “You too were with Jesus the Galilean.”
Matthew 26:70 - But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about.”
Matthew 26:71 - And when he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.”
Matthew 26:72 - And again he denied it with an oath, “I do not know the man.”
Matthew 26:73 - After a little while the bystanders came up and said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them too; for even your [Galilean] accent gives you away.”
Matthew 26:74 - Then he began to curse [that is, to invoke God’s judgment on himself] and swear [an oath], “I do not know the man!” And at that moment a rooster crowed.
Matthew 26:75 - And Peter remembered the [prophetic] words of Jesus, when He had said, “Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly [in repentance].
Romans 3:4 - Certainly not! Let God be found true [as He will be], though every person be found a liar, just as it is written [in Scripture], “That You may be justified in Your words, And prevail when You are judged [by sinful men].”
