Daniel 7:14 - To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty. All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving him. His authority is eternal and will not pass away. His kingdom will not be destroyed.
Psalms 72:17 - May his fame endure! May his dynasty last as long as the sun remains in the sky! May they use his name when they formulate their blessings! May all nations consider him to be favored by God!
Jeremiah 17:5 - The Lord says, “I will put a curse on people who trust in mere human beings, who depend on mere flesh and blood for their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:6 - They will be like a shrub in the desert. They will not experience good things even when they happen. It will be as though they were growing in the desert, in a salt land where no one can live.
Jeremiah 17:7 - My blessing is on those people who trust in me, who put their confidence in me.

Isaiah 11:1 - A shoot will grow out of Jesse’s root stock, a bud will sprout from his roots.

Isaiah 11:10 - At that time a root from Jesse will stand like a signal flag for the nations. Nations will look to him for guidance, and his residence will be majestic.
