  • Romans 3:13 - “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.”
  • Romans 3:14 - “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
  • Romans 3:15 - “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
  • Romans 3:16 - in their paths are ruin and misery,
  • Romans 3:17 - and the way of peace they have not known.”
  • Romans 3:18 - “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
  • Romans 3:19 - Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God.
  • Romans 3:20 - For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
  • Romans 3:21 - But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—
  • Romans 3:22 - the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:
  • Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
  • Romans 3:24 - and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
  • Romans 3:25 - whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
  • Romans 3:26 - It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
  • Romans 3:27 - Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith.
  • Romans 3:28 - For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
  • Romans 3:29 - Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,
  • Romans 3:30 - since God is one—who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
  • Romans 3:31 - Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
  • Psalms 10:4 - In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”
  • Psalms 14:1 - The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good.
  • Psalms 14:2 - The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.
  • Psalms 14:3 - They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.
  • Psalms 14:4 - Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the Lord?
  • Psalms 14:5 - There they are in great terror, for God is with the generation of the righteous.
  • Psalms 14:6 - You would shame the plans of the poor, but the Lord is his refuge.
  • Psalms 14:7 - Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.
