  • Exodus 23:19 - “As you harvest your crops, bring the very best of the first harvest to the house of the Lord your God. “You must not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
  • Exodus 23:20 - “See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you.
  • Exodus 23:21 - Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions. Do not rebel against him, for he is my representative, and he will not forgive your rebellion.
  • Exodus 23:22 - But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.

  • Exodus 23:25 - “You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.
  • Exodus 23:26 - There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.
  • Exodus 23:27 - “I will send my terror ahead of you and create panic among all the people whose lands you invade. I will make all your enemies turn and run.
  • Exodus 23:28 - I will send terror ahead of you to drive out the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites.
  • Exodus 23:29 - But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals would multiply and threaten you.
  • Exodus 23:30 - I will drive them out a little at a time until your population has increased enough to take possession of the land.
  • Exodus 23:31 - And I will fix your boundaries from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the eastern wilderness to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people now living in the land, and you will drive them out ahead of you.
  • Exodus 23:32 - “Make no treaties with them or their gods.
  • Exodus 23:33 - They must not live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me. If you serve their gods, you will be caught in the trap of idolatry.”
  • Romans 12:17 - Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.
  • Isaiah 56:2 - Blessed are all those who are careful to do this. Blessed are those who honor my Sabbath days of rest and keep themselves from doing wrong.
  • 3 John 1:11 - Dear friend, don’t let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God’s children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God.
  • Leviticus 19:16 - “Do not spread slanderous gossip among your people. “Do not stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is threatened. I am the Lord.
  • Romans 13:10 - Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.

  • Psalms 101:5 - I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.
  • Psalms 101:6 - I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.
  • Psalms 101:7 - I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house, and liars will not stay in my presence.
  • Psalms 101:8 - My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked and free the city of the Lord from their grip.
