  • Genesis 48:15 - Then Israel gave Joseph his blessing. He said, “May God bless these boys. He is the God of my grandfather Abraham and my father Isaac. They walked faithfully with him. He is the God who has been my shepherd all my life right up to this day.

  • Psalm 130:7 - Israel, put your hope in the Lord, because the Lord’s love never fails. He sets his people completely free.
  • Romans 8:18 - What we are suffering now is nothing compared with our future glory.
  • Ephesians 3:16 - I pray that he will use his glorious riches to make you strong. May his Holy Spirit give you his power deep down inside you.
  • Romans 9:23 - What if he put up with them to show the riches of his glory to other people? Those other people are the ones he shows his mercy to. He made them to receive his glory.

  • Psalm 112:6 - Those who do what is right will always be secure. They will be remembered forever.
  • Psalm 112:7 - They aren’t afraid when bad news comes. They stand firm because they trust in the Lord.
  • Psalm 112:8 - Their hearts are secure. They aren’t afraid. In the end they will see their enemies destroyed.
  • Psalm 112:9 - They have spread their gifts around to poor people. Their good works continue forever. They will be powerful and honored.
  • Proverbs 11:24 - One person gives freely but gets even richer. Another person doesn’t give what they should but gets even poorer.
  • Proverbs 11:25 - Anyone who gives a lot will succeed. Anyone who renews others will be renewed.
  • Nehemiah 9:15 - When the people were hungry, you gave them bread from heaven. When they were thirsty, you brought them water out of a rock. You told them to go into the land of Canaan. You told them to take it as their own. It was the land you had promised to give them.
  • Psalm 36:8 - They eat well because there is more than enough in your house. You let them drink from your river that flows with good things.
  • Malachi 3:10 - Bring the entire tenth to the storerooms in my temple. Then there will be plenty of food. Test me this way,” says the Lord. “Then you will see that I will throw open the windows of heaven. I will pour out so many blessings that you will not have enough room to store them.

  • Psalm 23:4 - Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me.
  • Psalm 23:5 - You prepare a feast for me right in front of my enemies. You pour oil on my head. My cup runs over.
  • 1 Peter 5:10 - God always gives you all the grace you need. So you will only have to suffer for a little while. Then God himself will build you up again. He will make you strong and steady. And he has chosen you to share in his eternal glory because you belong to Christ.
  • 1 Timothy 6:17 - Command people who are rich in this world not to be proud. Tell them not to put their hope in riches. Wealth is so uncertain. Command those who are rich to put their hope in God. He richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
  • Psalm 84:11 - The Lord God is like the sun that gives us light. He is like a shield that keeps us safe. The Lord blesses us with favor and honor. He doesn’t hold back anything good from those whose lives are without blame.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to shower all kinds of blessings on you. So in all things and at all times you will have everything you need. You will do more and more good works.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:9 - It is written, “They have spread their gifts around to poor people. Their good works continue forever.” ( Psalm 112:9 )
  • 2 Corinthians 9:10 - God supplies seed for the person who plants. He supplies bread for food. God will also supply and increase the amount of your seed. He will increase the results of your good works.
  • 2 Corinthians 9:11 - You will be made rich in every way. Then you can always give freely. We will take your many gifts to the people who need them. And they will give thanks to God.
