  • Isaiah 49:7 - The Lord sets his people free. He is the Holy One of Israel. He speaks to his servant, who is looked down on and hated by the nations. He speaks to the servant of rulers. He says to him, “Kings will see you and stand up to honor you. Princes will see you and bow down to show you their respect. I am the Lord. I am faithful. I am the Holy One of Israel. I have chosen you.”
  • Isaiah 49:8 - The Lord says to his servant, “When it is time to have mercy on you, I will answer your prayers. When it is time to save you, I will help you. I will keep you safe. You will put into effect my covenant with the people of Israel. Then their land will be made like new again. Each tribe will be sent back to its territory that was left empty.
  • Colossians 1:18 - And he is the head of the body, which is the church. He is the beginning. He is the first to be raised from the dead. That happened so that he would be far above everything.
  • Matthew 11:27 - “My Father has given all things to me. The Father is the only one who knows the Son. And the only ones who know the Father are the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to make him known.
  • Psalm 45:6 - Your throne is the very throne of God. Your kingdom will last for ever and ever. You will rule by treating everyone fairly.
  • Psalm 45:7 - You love what is right and hate what is evil. So your God has placed you above your companions. He has filled you with joy by pouring the sacred oil on your head.
  • John 13:3 - Jesus knew that the Father had put everything under his power. He also knew he had come from God and was returning to God.
  • Psalm 8:5 - You have made them a little lower than the angels. You placed on them a crown of glory and honor.
  • Psalm 8:6 - You made human beings rule over everything your hands created. You put everything under their control.
  • Psalm 8:7 - They rule over all flocks and herds and over the wild animals.
  • Psalm 8:8 - They rule over the birds in the sky and over the fish in the ocean. They rule over everything that swims in the oceans.
  • Psalm 72:17 - May the king’s name be remembered forever. May his fame last as long as the sun shines. Then all nations will be blessed because of him. They will call him blessed.
  • Psalm 72:18 - Give praise to the Lord God, the God of Israel. Only he can do wonderful things.
  • Psalm 72:19 - Give praise to his glorious name forever. May his glory fill the whole earth. Amen and Amen.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:24 - Then the end will come after Christ destroys all rule, authority and power. Then he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:25 - Christ must rule until he has put all his enemies under his control.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:26 - The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
  • 1 Corinthians 15:27 - Scripture says that God “has put everything under his control.” ( Psalm 8:6 ) It says that “everything” has been put under him. But it is clear that this does not include God himself. That’s because God put everything under Christ.
  • Acts 5:31 - Now Jesus is Prince and Savior. God has proved this by giving Jesus a place of honor with him. He did it to turn Israel away from their sins and forgive them.
  • John 5:22 - Also, the Father does not judge anyone. He has given the Son the task of judging.
  • John 5:23 - Then all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
  • John 5:24 - “What I’m about to tell you is true. Anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. They will not be judged. They have crossed over from death to life.
  • John 5:25 - What I’m about to tell you is true. A time is coming for me to give life. In fact, it has already begun. The dead will hear the voice of the Son of God. Those who hear it will live.
  • John 5:26 - The Father has life in himself. He has allowed the Son also to have life in himself.
  • John 5:27 - And the Father has given him the authority to judge. This is because he is the Son of Man.
  • Revelation 3:21 - ‘Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will give that person the right to sit with me on my throne. In the same way, I had victory. Then I sat down with my Father on his throne.
  • Psalm 2:6 - He says to them, “I have placed my king on my holy mountain of Zion.”
  • Psalm 2:7 - I will announce what the Lord has promised. He said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.
  • Psalm 2:8 - Ask me, and I will give the nations to you. All nations on earth will belong to you.
  • Psalm 2:9 - You will break them with an iron scepter. You will smash them to pieces like clay pots.”
  • Psalm 2:10 - Kings, be wise! Rulers of the earth, be warned!
  • Psalm 2:11 - Serve the Lord and have respect for him. Celebrate his rule with trembling.
  • Psalm 2:12 - Obey the son completely, or he will be angry. Your way of life will lead to your death. His anger can blaze out at any moment. Blessed are all those who go to him for safety.
  • Revelation 11:15 - The seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven. They said, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah. He will rule for ever and ever.”
  • Acts 2:32 - God has raised this same Jesus back to life. We are all witnesses of this.
  • Acts 2:33 - Jesus has been given a place of honor at the right hand of God. He has received the Holy Spirit from the Father. This is what God had promised. It is Jesus who has poured out what you now see and hear.
  • Acts 2:34 - David did not go up to heaven. But he said, “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand.
  • Acts 2:35 - I will put your enemies under your control.” ’ ( Psalm 110:1 )
  • Acts 2:36 - “So be sure of this, all you people of Israel. You nailed Jesus to the cross. But God has made him both Lord and Messiah.”
  • John 17:5 - So now, Father, give glory to me in heaven where your throne is. Give me the glory I had with you before the world began.
  • 2 Peter 1:17 - God the Father gave him honor and glory. The voice of the Majestic Glory came to him. It said, “This is my Son, and I love him. I am very pleased with him.” ( Matthew 17:5 ; Mark 9:7 ; Luke 9:35 )
  • Revelation 1:5 - May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.
  • Psalm 110:5 - The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings on the day when he is angry.
  • Isaiah 9:7 - There will be no limit to how great his authority is. The peace he brings will never end. He will rule on David’s throne and over his kingdom. He will make the kingdom strong and secure. His rule will be based on what is fair and right. It will last forever. The Lord’s great love will make sure that happens. He rules over all.
  • Hebrews 12:2 - Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And he is the one who completes the journey of faith. He paid no attention to the shame of the cross. He suffered there because of the joy he was looking forward to. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
  • Luke 10:22 - “My Father has given all things to me. The Father is the only one who knows who the Son is. And the only ones who know the Father are the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to make the Father known.”
  • Psalm 91:14 - The Lord says, “I will save the one who loves me. I will keep him safe, because he trusts in me.
  • John 17:1 - After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed. He said, “Father, the time has come. Bring glory to your Son. Then your Son will bring glory to you.
  • John 17:2 - You gave him authority over all people. He gives eternal life to all those you have given him.
  • John 17:3 - And what is eternal life? It is knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
  • Romans 14:9 - Christ died and came back to life. He did this to become the Lord of both the dead and the living.
  • Romans 14:10 - Now then, who are you to judge your brother or sister? Why do you act like you’re better than they are? We will all stand in God’s courtroom to be judged.
  • Romans 14:11 - It is written, “ ‘You can be sure that I live,’ says the Lord. ‘And you can be just as sure that everyone will kneel down in front of me. Every tongue will have to tell the truth about God.’ ” ( Isaiah 45:23 )
  • Daniel 7:14 - And he was given authority, glory and a kingdom. People of all nations, no matter what language they spoke, worshiped him. His authority will last forever. It will not pass away. His kingdom will never be destroyed.
  • John 3:35 - The Father loves the Son and has put everything into his hands.
  • John 3:36 - Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who does not believe in the Son will not have life. God’s anger remains on them.”
  • Psalm 89:27 - I will also make him my oldest son. Among all the kings of the earth, he will be the most important one.
  • Psalm 110:1 - The Lord says to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”
  • Isaiah 53:12 - So I will give him a place of honor among those who are great. He will be rewarded just like others who win the battle. That’s because he was willing to give his life as a sacrifice. He was counted among those who had committed crimes. He took the sins of many people on himself. And he gave his life for those who had done what is wrong.”
  • Hebrews 1:4 - So he became higher than the angels. The name he received is more excellent than theirs.
  • Ephesians 1:20 - God showed. He showed this when he raised Christ from the dead. God seated him at his right hand in his heavenly kingdom.
  • Ephesians 1:21 - There Christ sits far above all who rule and have authority. He also sits far above all powers and kings. He is above every name that is appealed to in this world and in the world to come.
  • Ephesians 1:22 - God placed all things under Christ’s rule. He appointed him to be ruler over everything for the church.
  • Ephesians 1:23 - The church is Christ’s body and is filled by Christ. He fills everything in every way.
  • Revelation 5:12 - In a loud voice they were saying, “The Lamb, who was put to death, is worthy! He is worthy to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength! He is worthy to receive honor and glory and praise!”
  • 1 Peter 3:22 - He has gone into heaven. He is at God’s right hand. Angels, authorities and powers are under his control.
  • Isaiah 52:13 - The Lord says, “My servant will act wisely and accomplish his task. He will be highly honored. He will be greatly respected.
  • Hebrews 2:9 - But we do see Jesus already given a crown of glory and honor. He was made lower than the angels for a little while. He suffered death. By the grace of God, he tasted death for everyone. That is why he was given his crown.
  • Matthew 28:18 - Then Jesus came to them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
  • Revelation 19:16 - Here is the name that is written on the rider’s robe and on his thigh. the greatest king of all and the most powerful lord of all
