Revelation 11:6 - These two have the power to close up the sky so that it does not rain during the time they are prophesying. They have power to turn the waters to blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague whenever they want.
Revelation 11:7 - When they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer them and kill them.
Revelation 11:8 - Their corpses will lie in the street of the great city that is symbolically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was also crucified.
Revelation 11:9 - For three and a half days those from every people, tribe, nation, and language will look at their corpses, because they will not permit them to be placed in a tomb.
Revelation 11:10 - And those who live on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate, even sending gifts to each other, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.
Acts 24:25 - While Paul was discussing righteousness, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “Go away for now, and when I have an opportunity, I will send for you.”
Mark 1:22 - The people there were amazed by his teaching, because he taught them like one who had authority, not like the experts in the law.

Matthew 21:45 - When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them.
Matthew 21:46 - They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds regarded him as a prophet.
Luke 20:19 - Then the experts in the law and the chief priests wanted to arrest him that very hour, because they realized he had told this parable against them. But they were afraid of the people.
Matthew 21:15 - But when the chief priests and the experts in the law saw the wonderful things he did and heard the children crying out in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant
Mark 3:6 - So the Pharisees went out immediately and began plotting with the Herodians, as to how they could assassinate him.
1 Kings 22:8 - The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat, “There is still one man through whom we can seek the Lord’s will. But I despise him because he does not prophesy prosperity for me, but disaster. His name is Micaiah son of Imlah. Jehoshaphat said, “The king should not say such things.”
Isaiah 49:7 - This is what the Lord, the protector of Israel, their Holy One, says to the one who is despised and rejected by nations, a servant of rulers: “Kings will see and rise in respect, princes will bow down, because of the faithful Lord, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen you.”
1 Kings 22:18 - The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Didn’t I tell you he does not prophesy prosperity for me, but disaster?”
Mark 12:12 - Now they wanted to arrest him (but they feared the crowd), because they realized that he told this parable against them. So they left him and went away.
