Isaiah 56:11 - And the dogs are greedy, they are never satisfied. And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, without exception.
Isaiah 6:10 - Make the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes blind, So that they will not see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed.”
Malachi 2:6 - True instruction was in his mouth and injustice was not found on his lips; he walked with Me in peace and justice, and he turned many back from wrongdoing.
Malachi 2:7 - For the lips of a priest should maintain knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of armies.
Malachi 2:8 - But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to stumble by the instruction; you have ruined the covenant of Levi,” says the Lord of armies.
Malachi 2:9 - “So I also have made you despised and of low reputation in the view of all the people, since you are not keeping My ways but are showing partiality in the instruction.”
Luke 20:7 - And so they answered that they did not know where it came from.

Jeremiah 8:7 - Even the stork in the sky Knows her seasons; And the turtledove, the swallow, and the crane Keep to the time of their migration; But My people do not know The judgment of the Lord.
Jeremiah 8:8 - “How can you say, ‘We are wise, And the Law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made it into a lie.
Jeremiah 8:9 - The wise men are put to shame, They are dismayed and caught; Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord, So what kind of wisdom do they have?
Matthew 23:16 - “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’
Matthew 23:17 - You fools and blind men! Which is more important, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?
Matthew 23:18 - And you say, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the offering that is on it is obligated.’
Matthew 23:19 - You blind men, which is more important, the offering or the altar that sanctifies the offering?
Matthew 23:20 - Therefore, the one who swears by the altar, swears both by the altar and by everything on it.
Matthew 23:21 - And the one who swears by the temple, swears both by the temple and by Him who dwells in it.
Matthew 23:22 - And the one who swears by heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.
Matthew 23:23 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
Matthew 23:24 - You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
Matthew 23:25 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence.
Matthew 23:26 - You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may also become clean.
Matthew 23:27 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.
Matthew 23:28 - So you too, outwardly appear righteous to people, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
