John 9:11 - He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed. Then I could see.”

Isaiah 59:10 - Like blind people we feel our way along the wall. We are like those who can’t see. At noon we trip and fall as if the sun had already set. Compared to those who are healthy, we are like dead people.
Isaiah 35:5 - Then the eyes of those who are blind will be opened. The ears of those who can’t hear will be unplugged.
Isaiah 35:6 - Those who can’t walk will leap like a deer. And those who can’t speak will shout for joy. Water will pour out in dry places. Streams will flow in the desert.
Luke 7:21 - At that time Jesus healed many people. They had illnesses, sicknesses and evil spirits. He also gave sight to many who were blind.
Matthew 12:22 - A man controlled by demons was brought to Jesus. The man was blind and could not speak. Jesus healed him. Then the man could speak and see.
Matthew 12:23 - All the people were amazed. They said, “Could this be the Son of David?”
Luke 4:18 - “The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He has anointed me to announce the good news to poor people. He has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners. He has sent me so that the blind will see again. He wants me to set free those who are treated badly.
Matthew 21:14 - Blind people and those who were disabled came to Jesus at the temple. There he healed them.
Psalm 146:8 - The Lord gives sight to those who are blind. The Lord lifts up those who feel helpless. The Lord loves those who do what is right.
Isaiah 29:18 - At that time those who can’t hear will hear what is read from the scroll. Those who are blind will come out of gloom and darkness. They will be able to see.
Isaiah 42:16 - Israel is blind. So I will lead them along paths they had not known before. I will guide them on roads they are not familiar with. I will turn the darkness into light as they travel. I will make the rough places smooth. Those are the things I will do. I will not desert my people.
Acts 2:30 - But David was a prophet. He knew that God had made a promise to him. God had promised that he would make someone in David’s family line king after him.
Isaiah 61:1 - The Spirit of the Lord and King is on me. The Lord has anointed me to announce good news to poor people. He has sent me to comfort those whose hearts have been broken. He has sent me to announce freedom for those who have been captured. He wants me to set prisoners free from their dark cells.
Isaiah 61:2 - He has sent me to announce the year when he will set his people free. He wants me to announce the day when he will pay his enemies back. Our God has sent me to comfort all those who are sad.
Romans 1:3 - The good news is about God’s Son. He was born into the family line of King David.
Romans 1:4 - By the Holy Spirit, he was appointed to be the mighty Son of God. God did this by raising him from the dead. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.
Mark 10:46 - Jesus and his disciples came to Jericho. They were leaving the city. A large crowd was with them. A blind man was sitting by the side of the road begging. His name was Bartimaeus. Bartimaeus means Son of Timaeus.
Matthew 22:42 - “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?” “The son of David,” they replied.
Matthew 21:9 - Some of the people went ahead of him, and some followed. They all shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” ( Psalm 118:26 ) “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
