  • Luke 9:42 - As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit and healed the boy. Then he gave him back to his father.
  • Mark 5:4 - Whenever he was put into chains and shackles—as he often was—he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him.
  • Mark 5:5 - Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones.
  • Matthew 4:24 - News about him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—he healed them all.
