Luke 16:19 - “Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, enjoying himself in splendor every day.
Luke 16:20 - And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores,
Luke 16:21 - and longing to be fed from the scraps which fell from the rich man’s table; not only that, the dogs also were coming and licking his sores.

Luke 16:25 - But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony.

James 1:25 - But one who has looked intently at the perfect law, the law of freedom, and has continued in it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an active doer, this person will be blessed in what he does.
James 1:26 - If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless.
Matthew 7:22 - Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

Luke 19:26 - ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.
Matthew 13:12 - For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him.
