  • Matthew 13:39 - The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.
  • Matthew 13:40 - “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world.
  • Matthew 13:41 - The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil.

  • Psalms 49:11 - The grave is their eternal home, where they will stay forever. They may name their estates after themselves,
  • Psalms 49:12 - but their fame will not last. They will die, just like animals.
  • James 1:11 - The hot sun rises and the grass withers; the little flower droops and falls, and its beauty fades away. In the same way, the rich will fade away with all of their achievements.
  • Mark 8:36 - And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?
  • Revelation 14:13 - And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”
