  • 1 Corinthians 2:9 - but just as it is written [in Scripture], “Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].”
  • Hebrews 5:11 - Concerning this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull and sluggish in [your spiritual] hearing and disinclined to listen.
  • 1 Peter 2:1 - So put aside every trace of malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander and hateful speech;

  • 1 Corinthians 3:2 - I fed you with milk, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Even now you are still not ready.
