Ezra 3:4 - They observed the Festival of Temporary Shelters as required and offered the proper number of daily burnt offerings according to the requirement for each day.
Ezra 3:5 - Afterward they offered the continual burnt offerings and those for the new moons and those for all the holy assemblies of the Lord and all those that were being voluntarily offered to the Lord.
Ezra 3:6 - From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the Lord. However, the Lord’s temple was not at that time established.
Nehemiah 8:1 - all the people gathered together in the plaza which was in front of the Water Gate. They asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had commanded Israel.
Nehemiah 8:2 - So Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly which included men and women and all those able to understand what they heard. (This happened on the first day of the seventh month.)
Nehemiah 8:3 - So he read it before the plaza in front of the Water Gate from dawn till noon before the men and women and those children who could understand. All the people were eager to hear the book of the law.
Nehemiah 8:4 - Ezra the scribe stood on a towering wooden platform constructed for this purpose. Standing near him on his right were Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Masseiah. On his left were Pedaiah, Mishael, Malkijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
Nehemiah 8:5 - Ezra opened the book in plain view of all the people, for he was elevated above all the people. When he opened the book, all the people stood up.
Nehemiah 8:6 - Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people replied “Amen! Amen!” as they lifted their hands. Then they bowed down and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.
Nehemiah 8:7 - Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah – all of whom were Levites – were teaching the people the law, as the people remained standing.
Nehemiah 8:8 - They read from the book of God’s law, explaining it and imparting insight. Thus the people gained understanding from what was read.
Nehemiah 8:9 - Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priestly scribe, and the Levites who were imparting understanding to the people said to all of them, “This day is holy to the LORD your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping when they heard the words of the law.
Nehemiah 8:10 - He said to them, “Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Nehemiah 8:11 - Then the Levites quieted all the people saying, “Be quiet, for this day is holy. Do not grieve.”
Nehemiah 8:12 - So all the people departed to eat and drink and to share their food with others and to enjoy tremendous joy, for they had gained insight in the matters that had been made known to them.
Exodus 19:14 - Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people and sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.
Exodus 19:15 - He said to the people, “Be ready for the third day. Do not go near your wives.”
Hebrews 9:13 - For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow sprinkled on those who are defiled consecrated them and provided ritual purity,
Hebrews 9:14 - how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.
Mark 14:1 - Two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the chief priests and the experts in the law were trying to find a way to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.
Numbers 9:6 - It happened that some men who were ceremonially defiled by the dead body of a man could not keep the Passover on that day, so they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.
John 7:8 - You go up to the feast yourselves. I am not going up to this feast because my time has not yet fully arrived.”
John 7:9 - When he had said this, he remained in Galilee.
John 7:10 - But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then Jesus himself also went up, not openly but in secret.
Matthew 26:1 - When Jesus had finished saying all these things, he told his disciples,
Job 1:5 - When the days of their feasting were finished, Job would send for them and sanctify them; he would get up early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job thought, “Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s customary practice.
John 18:28 - Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the Roman governor’s residence. (Now it was very early morning.) They did not go into the governor’s residence so they would not be ceremonially defiled, but could eat the Passover meal.
John 2:6 - Now there were six stone water jars there for Jewish ceremonial washing, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.
Acts 24:18 - which I was doing when they found me in the temple, ritually purified, without a crowd or a disturbance.
John 5:1 - After this there was a Jewish feast, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Exodus 12:11 - This is how you are to eat it – dressed to travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover.
Exodus 12:12 - I will pass through the land of Egypt in the same night, and I will attack all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both of humans and of animals, and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord.
Exodus 12:13 - The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, so that when I see the blood I will pass over you, and this plague will not fall on you to destroy you when I attack the land of Egypt.
Exodus 12:14 - This day will become a memorial for you, and you will celebrate it as a festival to the Lord – you will celebrate it perpetually as a lasting ordinance.

John 2:13 - Now the Jewish feast of Passover was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 30:17 - Because many in the assembly had not consecrated themselves, the Levites slaughtered the Passover lambs of all who were ceremonially unclean and could not consecrate their sacrifice to the Lord.
2 Chronicles 30:18 - The majority of the many people from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun were ceremonially unclean, yet they ate the Passover in violation of what is prescribed in the law. For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying: “May the Lord, who is good, forgive
2 Chronicles 30:19 - everyone who has determined to follow God, the Lord God of his ancestors, even if he is not ceremonially clean according to the standards of the temple.”
2 Chronicles 30:20 - The Lord responded favorably to Hezekiah and forgave the people.
