1 Reyes 9:9 - Y le responderán: “Porque abandonaron al Señor su Dios, que sacó de Egipto a sus antepasados, los israelitas, y se echaron en los brazos de otros dioses, a los cuales adoraron y sirvieron. Por eso el Señor ha dejado que les sobrevenga tanto desastre”».
Jeremías 5:19 - Y, cuando te pregunten: “¿Por qué el Señor, nuestro Dios, nos ha hecho todo esto?”, tú les responderás: “Así como ustedes me han abandonado y en su propia tierra han servido a dioses extranjeros, así también en tierra extraña servirán a gente extranjera”.
Jeremías 5:20 - »Anuncien esto entre los descendientes de Jacob y proclámenlo en Judá:
Deuteronomio 29:22 - »Sus hijos y las generaciones futuras, y los extranjeros que vengan de países lejanos, verán las calamidades y enfermedades con que el Señor habrá azotado esta tierra.
Deuteronomio 29:23 - Toda ella será un desperdicio ardiente de sal y de azufre, donde nada podrá plantarse, nada germinará, y ni siquiera la hierba crecerá. Será como cuando el Señor destruyó con su furor las ciudades de Sodoma y Gomorra, Admá y Zeboyín.
Deuteronomio 29:24 - Todas las naciones preguntarán: “¿Por qué trató así el Señor a esta tierra? ¿Por qué derramó con tanto ardor su furia sobre ella?”
Deuteronomio 29:25 - Y la respuesta será: “Porque este pueblo abandonó el pacto del Dios de sus padres, pacto que el Señor hizo con ellos cuando los sacó de Egipto.
Deuteronomio 29:26 - Se fueron y adoraron a otros dioses; se inclinaron ante dioses que no conocían, dioses que no tenían por qué adorar.
Deuteronomio 29:27 - Por eso se encendió la ira del Señor contra esta tierra, y derramó sobre ella todas las maldiciones escritas en este libro.
Deuteronomio 29:28 - Y como ahora podemos ver, con mucha furia y enojo el Señor los arrancó de raíz de su tierra, y los arrojó a otro país”.
Deuteronomio 32:29 - ¡Si tan solo fueran sabios y entendieran esto, y comprendieran cuál será su fin!
Jeremías 16:10 - »Cuando anuncies a este pueblo todas estas cosas, ellos te preguntarán: “¿Por qué ha decretado el Señor contra nosotros esta calamidad tan grande? ¿Cuál es nuestra iniquidad? ¿Qué pecado hemos cometido contra el Señor nuestro Dios?”
Jeremías 16:11 - Entonces les responderás: “Esto es porque sus antepasados me abandonaron y se fueron tras otros dioses, y los sirvieron y los adoraron. Pero a mí me abandonaron, y no cumplieron mi ley —afirma el Señor—.
Jeremías 16:12 - Pero ustedes se han comportado peor que sus antepasados. Cada uno sigue la terquedad de su corazón malvado, y no me ha obedecido.
Jeremías 16:13 - Por eso los voy a arrojar de esta tierra, a un país que ni ustedes ni sus antepasados conocieron, y allí servirán a otros dioses día y noche. No les tendré clemencia”.
Mateo 24:15 - »Así que cuando vean en el lugar santo “el horrible sacrilegio”, del que habló el profeta Daniel (el que lee, que lo entienda),
Ezequiel 22:25 - Como leones rugientes que despedazan a la presa, hay una conspiración de profetas que devoran a la gente, que se apoderan de las riquezas y de los objetos de valor, y que aumentan el número de viudas.
Ezequiel 22:26 - Sus sacerdotes violan mi ley y profanan mis objetos sagrados. Ellos no hacen distinción entre lo sagrado y lo profano, ni enseñan a otros la diferencia entre lo puro y lo impuro. Tampoco les prestan atención a mis sábados, y he sido profanado entre ellos.
Ezequiel 22:27 - Los jefes de la ciudad son como lobos que desgarran a su presa; siempre están listos a derramar sangre y a destruir vidas, con tal de lograr ganancias injustas.
Ezequiel 22:28 - Los profetas todo lo blanquean mediante visiones falsas y predicciones mentirosas. Alegan que lo ha dicho el Señor omnipotente, cuando en realidad el Señor no les ha dicho nada.
Ezequiel 22:29 - Los terratenientes roban y extorsionan a la gente, explotan al indigente y al pobre, y maltratan injustamente al extranjero.
Ezequiel 22:30 - Yo he buscado entre ellos a alguien que se interponga entre mi pueblo y yo, y saque la cara por él para que yo no lo destruya. ¡Y no lo he hallado!
Ezequiel 22:31 - Por eso derramaré mi ira sobre ellos; los consumiré con el fuego de mi ira, y haré recaer sobre ellos todo el mal que han hecho. Lo afirma el Señor omnipotente».
Salmo 107:34 - los fértiles terrenos en tierra salitrosa, por la maldad de sus habitantes.
Oseas 14:9 - El que es sabio entiende estas cosas; el que es inteligente las comprende. Ciertamente son rectos los caminos del Señor: en ellos caminan los justos, mientras que allí tropiezan los rebeldes.
Salmo 107:43 - Quien sea sabio, que considere estas cosas y entienda bien el gran amor del Señor.
