  • 2 Thessalonians 2:10 - and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved.
  • 2 Thessalonians 2:11 - Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.
  • 2 Peter 2:1 - But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result, they will bring swift destruction on themselves.
  • 2 Peter 2:2 - And many will follow their debauched lifestyles. Because of these false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.
  • 2 Timothy 4:3 - For there will be a time when people will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things.
  • 2 Timothy 4:4 - And they will turn away from hearing the truth, but on the other hand they will turn aside to myths.
  • Isaiah 10:3 - What will you do on judgment day, when destruction arrives from a distant place? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your wealth?
  • Zephaniah 2:2 - before God’s decree becomes reality and the day of opportunity disappears like windblown chaff, before the Lord’s raging anger overtakes you – before the day of the Lord’s angry judgment overtakes you!
  • Zephaniah 2:3 - Seek the Lord’s favor, all you humble people of the land who have obeyed his commands! Strive to do what is right! Strive to be humble! Maybe you will be protected on the day of the Lord’s angry judgment.
  • John 3:19 - Now this is the basis for judging: that the light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil.
  • John 3:20 - For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed.

  • Deuteronomy 32:29 - I wish that they were wise and could understand this, and that they could comprehend what will happen to them.”
  • 2 Corinthians 11:13 - For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
  • 2 Corinthians 11:14 - And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
  • 2 Corinthians 11:15 - Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.
  • Ezekiel 22:14 - Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong when I deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do it!
  • Micah 2:11 - If a lying windbag should come and say, ‘I’ll promise you blessings of wine and beer,’ he would be just the right preacher for these people!
  • Jeremiah 14:14 - Then the Lord said to me, “Those prophets are prophesying lies while claiming my authority! I did not send them. I did not commission them. I did not speak to them. They are prophesying to these people false visions, worthless predictions, and the delusions of their own mind.
  • Ezekiel 13:6 - They see delusion and their omens are a lie. They say, “the Lord declares,” though the Lord has not sent them; yet they expect their word to be confirmed.
