Leviticus 26:36 - “‘As for the ones who remain among you, I will bring despair into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a blowing leaf will pursue them, and they will flee as one who flees the sword and fall down even though there is no pursuer.
Jeremiah 52:7 - They broke through the city walls, and all the soldiers tried to escape. They left the city during the night. They went through the gate between the two walls that is near the king’s garden. (The Babylonians had the city surrounded.) Then they headed for the Jordan Valley.
Jeremiah 52:8 - But the Babylonian army chased after the king. They caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and his entire army deserted him.
Jeremiah 52:9 - They captured him and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the territory of Hamath and he passed sentence on him there.
Jeremiah 52:10 - The king of Babylon had Zedekiah’s sons put to death while Zedekiah was forced to watch. He also had all the nobles of Judah put to death there at Riblah.
Jeremiah 52:11 - He had Zedekiah’s eyes put out and had him bound in chains. Then the king of Babylon had him led off to Babylon and he was imprisoned there until the day he died.

Ezekiel 12:12 - “The prince who is among them will raise his belongings onto his shoulder in darkness, and will go out. He will dig a hole in the wall to leave through. He will cover his face so that he cannot see the land with his eyes.

Deuteronomy 32:26 - “I said, ‘I want to cut them in pieces. I want to make people forget they ever existed.
Deuteronomy 32:27 - But I fear the reaction of their enemies, for their adversaries would misunderstand and say, “Our power is great, and the Lord has not done all this!”’
Deuteronomy 32:28 - They are a nation devoid of wisdom, and there is no understanding among them.
Deuteronomy 32:29 - I wish that they were wise and could understand this, and that they could comprehend what will happen to them.”
Deuteronomy 32:30 - How can one man chase a thousand of them, and two pursue ten thousand; unless their Rock had delivered them up, and the Lord had handed them over?
Amos 2:14 - Fast runners will find no place to hide; strong men will have no strength left; warriors will not be able to save their lives.
2 Chronicles 32:5 - Hezekiah energetically rebuilt every broken wall. He erected towers and an outer wall, and fortified the terrace of the City of David. He made many weapons and shields.
