Jeremias 37:8 - Os babilônios voltarão e atacarão esta cidade; eles a conquistarão e a destruirão a fogo”.
Jeremias 37:9 - Assim diz o Senhor: “Não se enganem, dizendo: ‘Os babilônios certamente vão embora’. Porque eles não vão.
Jeremias 37:10 - Ainda que vocês derrotassem todo o exército babilônio que está atacando vocês, e só lhe restassem homens feridos em suas tendas, eles se levantariam e incendiariam esta cidade”.
Jeremias 17:27 - Mas, se vocês não me obedecerem e deixarem de guardar o sábado como dia consagrado, fazendo passar cargas pelas portas de Jerusalém no dia de sábado, porei fogo nas suas portas, que consumirá os seus palácios”.
Lamentações 4:11 - O Senhor deu vazão total à sua ira; derramou a sua grande fúria. Ele acendeu em Sião um fogo que consumiu os seus alicerces.
Mateus 22:7 - O rei ficou irado e, enviando o seu exército, destruiu aqueles assassinos e queimou a cidade deles.
Isaías 64:10 - As tuas cidades sagradas transformaram-se em deserto. Até Sião virou um deserto, e Jerusalém, uma desolação!
Isaías 64:11 - O nosso templo santo e glorioso, onde os nossos antepassados te louvavam, foi destruído pelo fogo, e tudo o que nos era precioso está em ruínas.
2 Reis 25:9 - Incendiou o templo do Senhor, o palácio real, todas as casas de Jerusalém e todos os edifícios importantes.
Jeremias 27:8 - “Se, porém, alguma nação ou reino não se sujeitar a Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia, nem colocar o pescoço sob o seu jugo, eu castigarei aquela nação com a guerra, a fome e a peste”, declara o Senhor, “e por meio dele eu a destruirei completamente.
Jeremias 27:9 - Não ouçam os seus profetas, os seus adivinhos, os seus intérpretes de sonhos, os seus médiuns e os seus feiticeiros, os quais dizem a vocês que não se sujeitem ao rei da Babilônia.
Jeremias 27:10 - Porque suas profecias são mentiras e os levarão para longe de sua terra. Eu banirei vocês, e vocês perecerão.
Jeremias 44:25 - Assim diz o Senhor dos Exércitos, Deus de Israel: ‘Vocês e suas mulheres cumpriram o que prometeram quando disseram: “Certamente cumpriremos os votos que fizemos de queimar incenso e derramar ofertas de bebidas à Rainha dos Céus” ’. “Prossigam! Façam o que prometeram! Cumpram os seus votos!
Jeremias 7:18 - Os filhos ajuntam a lenha, os pais acendem o fogo, e as mulheres preparam a massa e fazem bolos para a Rainha dos Céus. Além disso, derramam ofertas a outros deuses para provocarem a minha ira.
Jeremias 39:8 - Os babilônios incendiaram o palácio real e as casas do povo e derrubaram os muros de Jerusalém.
Jeremias 44:17 - É certo que faremos tudo o que dissemos que faríamos—queimaremos incenso à Rainha dos Céus e derramaremos ofertas de bebidas para ela, tal como fazíamos, nós e nossos antepassados, nossos reis e nossos líderes, nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém. Naquela época, tínhamos fartura de comida, éramos prósperos e nada sofríamos.
Jeremias 44:18 - Mas, desde que paramos de queimar incenso à Rainha dos Céus e de derramar ofertas de bebidas a ela, nada temos tido e temos perecido pela espada e pela fome”.
Jeremias 44:19 - E as mulheres acrescentaram: “Quando queimávamos incenso à Rainha dos Céus e derramávamos ofertas de bebidas para ela, será que era sem o consentimento de nossos maridos que fazíamos bolos na forma da imagem dela e derramávamos as ofertas de bebidas?”
2 Crônicas 36:19 - Os babilônios incendiaram o templo de Deus e derrubaram o muro de Jerusalém; queimaram todos os palácios e destruíram todos os utensílios de valor que havia neles.
Jeremias 52:13 - Ele incendiou o templo do Senhor, o palácio real e todas as casas de Jerusalém. Todos os edifícios importantes foram incendiados por ele.
Jeremias 21:10 - Decidi fazer o mal e não o bem a esta cidade’, diz o Senhor. ‘Ela será entregue nas mãos do rei da Babilônia, e ele a incendiará’.
Jeremias 19:13 - As casas de Jerusalém e os palácios reais de Judá serão profanados, como este lugar de Tofete: todas as casas em cujos terraços queimaram incenso a todos os corpos celestes e derramaram ofertas de bebidas aos seus deuses estrangeiros”.
