John 20:17 - Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me. I have not yet ascended to the Father. Instead, go to those who believe in me. Tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
Galatians 5:22 - But the fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful
Galatians 5:23 - and gentle and having control of oneself. There is no law against things of that kind.
Jeremiah 31:1 - “At that time I will be the God of all the families of Israel,” announces the Lord. “And they will be my people.”
Revelation 21:7 - Those who have victory will receive all this from me. I will be their God, and they will be my children.
Isaiah 51:7 - “Listen to me, you who know what is right. Pay attention, you who have taken my instruction to heart. Do not be afraid when mere human beings make fun of you. Do not be terrified when they laugh at you.
2 Corinthians 3:7 - The Law was written in letters on stone. Even though it was a way of serving God, it led to death. But even that way of serving God came with glory. The glory lasted for only a short time. Even so, the people of Israel couldn’t look at Moses’ face very long.
2 Corinthians 3:8 - Since all this is true, won’t the work of the Holy Spirit be even more glorious?
Romans 8:2 - Because of what Christ Jesus has done, you are free. You are now controlled by the law of the Holy Spirit who gives you life. The law of the Spirit frees you from the law of sin that brings death.
Romans 8:3 - The written law was made weak by the power of sin. But God did what the written law could not do. He made his Son to be like those who live under the power of sin. God sent him to be an offering for sin. Jesus suffered God’s judgment against our sin.
Romans 8:4 - Jesus does for us everything the holy law requires. The power of sin should no longer control the way we live. The Holy Spirit should control the way we live.
Romans 8:5 - So don’t live under the control of sin. If you do, you will think about what sin wants. Live under the control of the Holy Spirit. If you do, you will think about what the Spirit wants.
Romans 8:6 - The thoughts of a person ruled by sin bring death. But the mind ruled by the Spirit brings life and peace.
Romans 8:7 - The mind ruled by the power of sin is at war with God. It does not obey God’s law. It can’t.
Romans 8:8 - Those who are under the power of sin can’t please God.
Jeremiah 30:22 - “So you will be my people. And I will be your God.”
Romans 7:22 - Deep inside me I find joy in God’s law.
Genesis 17:7 - I will make my covenant with you last forever. It will be between me and you and your family after you for all time to come. I will be your God. And I will be the God of all your family after you.
Genesis 17:8 - You are now living in Canaan as an outsider. But I will give you the whole land of Canaan. You will own it forever and so will all your family after you. And I will be their God.”
Psalm 37:31 - God’s law is in their hearts. Their feet do not slip.
Zechariah 13:9 - I will put this third in the fire. I will make them as pure as silver. I will test them like gold. They will call out to me. And I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people.’ And they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ ”
Revelation 21:3 - I heard a loud voice from the throne. It said, “Look! God now makes his home with the people. He will live with them. They will be his people. And God himself will be with them and be their God.
Jeremiah 32:38 - They will be my people. And I will be their God.
Deuteronomy 30:6 - The Lord your God will keep you from being stubborn. He’ll do the same thing for your children and their children. Then you will love him with all your heart and with all your soul. And you will live.
Ezekiel 37:27 - I will live with them. I will be their God. And they will be my people.
Jeremiah 32:40 - I will make a covenant with them that will last forever. I promise that I will never stop doing good to them. I will cause them to respect me. Then they will never turn away from me again.
Psalm 40:8 - My God, I have come to do what you want. Your law is in my heart.”
Ezekiel 36:25 - I will sprinkle pure water on you. Then you will be ‘clean.’ I will make you completely pure and ‘clean.’ I will take all the statues of your gods away from you.
Ezekiel 36:26 - I will give you new hearts. I will give you a new spirit that is faithful to me. I will remove your stubborn hearts from you. I will give you hearts that obey me.
Ezekiel 36:27 - I will put my Spirit in you. I will make you want to obey my rules. I want you to be careful to keep my laws.
Jeremiah 24:7 - I will change their hearts. Then they will know that I am the Lord. They will be my people. And I will be their God. They will return to me with all their heart.
Hebrews 8:10 - This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds. I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God. And they will be my people.
Ezekiel 11:19 - I will give my people hearts that are completely committed to me. I will give them a new spirit that is faithful to me. I will remove their stubborn hearts from them. And I will give them hearts that obey me.
Ezekiel 11:20 - Then they will follow my rules. They will be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people. And I will be their God.
Hebrews 10:16 - “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts. I will write my laws on their minds.” ( Jeremiah 31:33 )
2 Corinthians 3:3 - You make it clear that you are a letter from Christ. You are the result of our work for God. You are a letter written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. You are a letter written not on tablets made out of stone but on human hearts.
