Jeremiah 28:5 - Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah before the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the Lord.
Jeremiah 28:6 - He said, “Amen! May the Lord do so! May the Lord fulfill the words you have prophesied by bringing the articles of the Lord’s house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.
Jeremiah 28:7 - Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
Jeremiah 28:8 - From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms.
Jeremiah 28:9 - But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the Lord only if his prediction comes true.”
Luke 10:16 - “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
Lamentations 2:14 - The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The prophecies they gave you were false and misleading.

Jeremiah 7:24 - But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubborn inclinations of their evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.

Malachi 1:6 - “A son honors his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the Lord Almighty. “It is you priests who show contempt for my name. “But you ask, ‘How have we shown contempt for your name?’
1 Samuel 2:30 - “Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained.
Isaiah 3:10 - Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.
Isaiah 3:11 - Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done.
Jeremiah 18:18 - They said, “Come, let’s make plans against Jeremiah; for the teaching of the law by the priest will not cease, nor will counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophets. So come, let’s attack him with our tongues and pay no attention to anything he says.”
Ezekiel 13:10 - “ ‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash,

Deuteronomy 29:19 - When such a person hears the words of this oath and they invoke a blessing on themselves, thinking, “I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way,” they will bring disaster on the watered land as well as the dry.
Amos 9:10 - All the sinners among my people will die by the sword, all those who say, ‘Disaster will not overtake or meet us.’
Jeremiah 13:10 - These wicked people, who refuse to listen to my words, who follow the stubbornness of their hearts and go after other gods to serve and worship them, will be like this belt—completely useless!
Micah 3:11 - Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they look for the Lord’s support and say, “Is not the Lord among us? No disaster will come upon us.”
