  • Deuteronomy 28:9 - The Lord your God will make you his holy people. He will set you apart for himself. He promised to do this. He promised to do it if you would keep his commands and live exactly as he wants you to live.
  • Deuteronomy 28:10 - All the nations on earth will see that you belong to the Lord. And they will be afraid of you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:11 - The Lord will give you more than you need. You will have many children. Your livestock will have many little ones. Your crops will do very well. All of that will happen in the land he promised to give you. He promised this to your people of long ago.
  • Deuteronomy 28:12 - The Lord will open up the heavens. That’s where he stores his riches. He will send rain on your land at just the right time. He’ll bless everything you do. You will lend money to many nations. But you won’t have to borrow from any of them.
  • Deuteronomy 28:13 - The Lord your God will make you leaders, not followers. Pay attention to his commands that I’m giving you today. Be careful to obey them. Then you will always be on top. You will never be on the bottom.
  • Deuteronomy 28:14 - Don’t turn away from any of the commands I’m giving you today. Don’t turn to the right or the left. Don’t follow other gods. Don’t worship them.
  • Deuteronomy 4:6 - Be careful to keep them. That will show the nations how wise and understanding you are. They will hear about all these rules. They’ll say, “That great nation certainly has wise and understanding people.”
  • Deuteronomy 12:32 - Be sure you do everything I am commanding you to do. Do not add anything to my commands. And do not take anything away from them.
  • Jeremiah 25:4 - “The Lord has sent all his servants the prophets to you. They’ve come to you again and again. But you haven’t listened. You haven’t paid any attention to them.
  • Deuteronomy 11:26 - Listen to me. I’m setting a blessing and a curse in front of you today.
  • Deuteronomy 11:27 - I’m giving you the commands of the Lord your God today. You will be blessed if you obey them.
  • Deuteronomy 11:28 - But you will be cursed if you don’t obey them. So don’t turn away from the path I’m now commanding you to take. Don’t turn away by worshiping other gods you didn’t know before.
  • Ephesians 4:17 - Here is what I’m telling you. I am speaking for the Lord as I warn you. You must no longer live as the Gentiles do. Their thoughts don’t have any purpose.
  • Deuteronomy 10:12 - And now, Israel, what is the Lord your God asking you to do? Honor him. Live exactly as he wants you to live. Love him. Serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
  • Deuteronomy 10:13 - Obey the Lord’s commands and rules. I’m giving them to you today for your own good.
  • Exodus 15:26 - He said, “I am the Lord your God. Listen carefully to me. Do what is right in my eyes. Pay attention to my commands. Obey all my rules. If you do, I will not send on you any of the sicknesses I sent on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.”
  • 1 Samuel 8:9 - Let them have what they want. But give them a strong warning. Let them know what the king who rules over them will expect to be done for him.”
  • 2 Chronicles 36:15 - The Lord, the God of Israel, sent word to his people through his messengers. He sent it to them again and again. He took pity on his people. He also took pity on the temple where he lived.
