2. Mose 14:24 - Kurz vor Tagesanbruch blickte der Herr aus der Wolken- und Feuersäule auf das ägyptische Heer hinab und stiftete Verwirrung in ihren Reihen.
Offenbarung 16:15 - »Doch vergiss nicht«, sagt Christus, »ich komme plötzlich und unerwartet wie ein Dieb! Nur wer wach bleibt und bereit ist, darf sich an diesem Tag glücklich schätzen. Nur wer seine Kleider griffbereit hat, muss dann nicht nackt umherlaufen und sich schämen.«
Jeremia 13:13 - dann antworte: ›Der Herr kündigt euch an: Die Bewohner dieses Landes, die Könige, die als Nachkommen von David regieren, die Priester und Propheten, ja, alle Einwohner von Jerusalem – sie sind die Krüge, und ich werde sie mit Wein füllen, bis sie betrunken sind!
Jeremia 13:14 - Und dann schlage ich sie gegeneinander, so dass einer am anderen zerbricht, die Väter und die Söhne. Ich werde kein Mitleid mit ihnen haben und sie nicht schonen, sondern sie erbarmungslos zerschmettern. Darauf gebe ich, der Herr, mein Wort.‹«
Jeremia 19:1 - Der Herr befahl mir: »Kauf dir beim Töpfer einen Tonkrug. Dann nimm einige von den führenden Männern des Volkes und von den obersten Priestern mit
Jeremia 19:2 - und geh zum Scherbentor hinaus ins Hinnomtal! Dort sollst du verkünden, was ich dir sage!
Jeremia 19:3 - Richte ihnen aus: ›Hört die Botschaft des Herrn, ihr Könige von Juda und ihr Einwohner von Jerusalem! So spricht der Herr, der allmächtige Gott Israels: Ich werde über diesen Ort so großes Unheil bringen, dass keiner es ertragen kann, davon zu hören.
Jeremia 19:4 - Denn die Bewohner haben mich verlassen und diesen Ort ihren Götzen geweiht. Sie verbrennen Opfer für Götter, die weder sie noch ihre Vorfahren noch die Könige von Juda gekannt haben. Dazu haben sie dieses Tal mit dem Blut unschuldiger Menschen getränkt.
Jeremia 19:5 - Für den Gott Baal haben sie Opferstätten errichtet, wo sie ihm ihre Kinder verbrennen. Niemals habe ich so etwas befohlen, nie davon gesprochen, ja, nicht einmal daran gedacht!
Jeremia 19:6 - Darum hört nun, was ich sage: Es kommt die Zeit, in der man diesen Ort nicht mehr Hinnomtal oder Tofet, sondern Mordtal nennen wird!
Jeremia 19:7 - An diesem Ort will ich die Pläne der Bewohner von Juda und Jerusalem vereiteln. Ich lasse sie ihren Todfeinden in die Hände fallen, und die werden sie umbringen. Ihre Leichen gebe ich den Vögeln und wilden Tieren zum Fraß.
Jeremia 19:8 - Ich mache diese Stadt zu einem Ort des Grauens und zur Zielscheibe des Spotts. Wer an ihr vorüberzieht, wird verächtlich lachen und zugleich entsetzt sein über das, was er sieht.
Jeremia 19:9 - Wenn ihre Todfeinde die Stadt belagern, wird die Hungersnot darin so groß, dass die Einwohner ihre eigenen Kinder und schließlich auch sich gegenseitig essen werden.‹
Jeremia 19:10 - Nachdem du ihnen das angekündigt hast, sollst du den Tonkrug vor den Augen der Männer, die dich begleitet haben, zerschmettern
Jeremia 19:11 - und sagen: ›So spricht der Herr, der allmächtige Gott: Ich will dieses Volk und diese Stadt zerschmettern wie den Tonkrug, den man nicht wiederherstellen kann. Man wird die Toten im Tofet begraben, weil anderswo der Platz fehlt.
Psalm 2:9 - Du wirst sie mit eisernem Zepter zerschlagen, sie wie Tongeschirr zerbrechen!‹«
