  • Jeremiah 5:25 - Your wrongdoings have kept these away; your sins have deprived you of good.

  • Jeremiah 5:9 - Should I not punish them for this?” declares the Lord. “Should I not avenge myself on such a nation as this?

  • Jeremiah 14:7 - Although our sins testify against us, do something, Lord, for the sake of your name. For we have often rebelled; we have sinned against you.
  • Ezra 9:6 - and prayed: “I am too ashamed and disgraced, my God, to lift up my face to you, because our sins are higher than our heads and our guilt has reached to the heavens.
