  • Jeremiah 50:37 - A sword against their horses, against their chariots, And against all the foreigners who are in the midst of her, And they will become women! A sword against her treasures, and they will be plundered!
  • Jeremiah 50:38 - A drought on her waters, and they will be dried up! For it is a land of idols, And they go insane at frightful images.
  • Jeremiah 50:39 - “Therefore the desert creatures will live there with the jackals; The ostriches also will live in it. It will never again be inhabited Nor lived in from generation to generation.
  • Jeremiah 50:40 - As when God overthrew Sodom And Gomorrah with its neighbors,” declares the Lord, “No one will live there, Nor will anyone of mankind reside in it.
  • Jeremiah 50:41 - “Behold, a people is coming from the north, And a great nation and many kings Will be roused from the remote parts of the earth.
  • Jeremiah 50:42 - They seize their bow and javelin; They are cruel and have no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea; And they ride on horses, Drawn up like a man for the battle Against you, daughter of Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 50:43 - The king of Babylon has heard the report about them, And his hands hang limp; Distress has gripped him, Agony like a woman in childbirth.
  • Jeremiah 50:44 - “Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thicket of the Jordan to a perennially watered pasture; for in an instant I will chase them away from it, and I will appoint over it whoever is chosen. For who is like Me, and who will summon Me into court? And who then is the shepherd who can stand against Me?”
  • Jeremiah 50:45 - Therefore hear the plan of the Lord which He has planned against Babylon, and His purposes which He has in mind against the land of the Chaldeans: they will certainly drag them off, even the little ones of the flock; He will certainly make their pasture desolate because of them.
  • Jeremiah 50:46 - At the shout, “Babylon has been conquered!” the earth quakes, and an outcry is heard among the nations.
  • Zechariah 14:13 - And it will come about on that day that a great panic from the Lord will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be raised against the hand of another.
  • Zechariah 14:14 - Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance.
  • Jeremiah 50:14 - Draw up your battle lines against Babylon on every side, All of you who bend the bow; Shoot at her, do not spare your arrows, For she has sinned against the Lord.
  • Jeremiah 50:15 - Raise your battle cry against her on every side! She has given herself up, her towers have fallen, Her walls have been torn down. For this is the vengeance of the Lord: Take vengeance on her; As she has done to others, so do to her.
  • Isaiah 22:1 - The pronouncement concerning the valley of vision: What is the matter with you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops?
  • Isaiah 22:2 - You who were full of noise, You tumultuous town, you jubilant city; Your dead were not killed with the sword, Nor did they die in battle.
  • Isaiah 22:3 - All your rulers have fled together, And have been captured without the bow; All of you who were found were taken captive together, Though they had fled far away.
  • Isaiah 22:4 - Therefore I say, “Look away from me, Let me weep bitterly, Do not try to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”
  • Isaiah 22:5 - For the Lord God of armies has a day of panic, subjugation, and confusion In the valley of vision, A breaking down of walls And a crying to the mountain.
  • Isaiah 22:6 - Elam picked up the quiver, With the chariots, infantry, and horsemen; And Kir uncovered the shield.
  • Isaiah 22:7 - Then your choicest valleys were full of chariots, And the horsemen took positions at the gate.
  • Isaiah 22:8 - And He removed the defense of Judah. On that day you depended on the weapons of the house of the forest,
  • Isaiah 22:9 - And you saw that the breaches In the wall of the city of David were many; And you collected the waters of the lower pool.
  • Joel 2:25 - “Then I will compensate you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust— My great army which I sent among you.
  • Joel 2:1 - Blow a trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, For the day of the Lord is coming; Indeed, it is near,
  • Joel 2:2 - A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness. As dawn is spread over the mountains, So there is a great and mighty people; There has never been anything like it, Nor will there be again after it To the years of many generations.
  • Joel 2:3 - A fire consumes before them, And behind them a flame devours. The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, But a desolate wilderness behind them, And nothing at all escapes them.
  • Joel 2:4 - Their appearance is like the appearance of horses; And like war horses, so they run.
  • Joel 2:5 - With a noise as of chariots They leap about on the tops of the mountains, Like the crackling of a flame of fire consuming the stubble, Like a mighty people drawn up for battle.
  • Joel 2:6 - Before them the people are in anguish; All faces turn pale.
  • Joel 2:7 - They run like warriors, They climb the wall like soldiers; And each of them marches in line, Nor do they lose their way.
  • Joel 2:8 - They do not crowd each other, Every warrior of them marches in his path; When they burst through the defenses, They do not break ranks.
  • Joel 2:9 - They storm the city, They run on the wall; They climb into the houses, They enter through the windows like a thief.
  • Joel 2:10 - Before them the earth quakes, The heavens tremble, The sun and the moon become dark, And the stars lose their brightness.
  • Joel 2:11 - The Lord utters His voice before His army; His camp is indeed very great, For mighty is one who carries out His word. The day of the Lord is indeed great and very awesome, And who can endure it?
  • Ezekiel 38:3 - and say, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
  • Ezekiel 38:4 - So I will turn you around and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them magnificently dressed, a great contingent with shield and buckler, all of them wielding swords;
  • Ezekiel 38:5 - Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with buckler and helmet;
  • Ezekiel 38:6 - Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.
  • Ezekiel 38:7 - “Be ready, and be prepared, you and all your contingents that are assembled around you, and be a guard for them.
  • Ezekiel 38:8 - After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual place of ruins; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them.
  • Ezekiel 38:9 - And you will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.”
  • Ezekiel 38:10 - ‘This is what the Lord God says: “It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan,
  • Ezekiel 38:11 - and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,
  • Ezekiel 38:12 - to capture spoils and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the ruins that are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who live at the center of the world.’
  • Ezekiel 38:13 - Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoils? Have you assembled your contingent to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to capture great spoils?’ ” ’
  • Ezekiel 38:14 - “Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it?
  • Ezekiel 38:15 - You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding horses, a large assembly and a mighty army;
  • Ezekiel 38:16 - and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I show Myself holy through you before their eyes, Gog.”
  • Ezekiel 38:17 - ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them?
  • Ezekiel 38:18 - It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord God, “that My fury will mount up in My anger.
  • Ezekiel 38:19 - In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will certainly be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
  • Ezekiel 38:20 - The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the crawling things that crawl on the earth, and all mankind who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; and the mountains will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.
  • Ezekiel 38:21 - And I will call for a sword against him on all My mountains,” declares the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
  • Ezekiel 38:22 - With plague and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
  • Ezekiel 38:23 - So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.” ’
  • Revelation 19:11 - And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.
  • Revelation 19:12 - His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.
  • Revelation 19:13 - He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
  • Revelation 19:14 - And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.
  • Revelation 19:15 - From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.
  • Revelation 19:16 - And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
  • Revelation 19:17 - Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great feast of God,
  • Revelation 19:18 - so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slaves, and small and great.”
  • Revelation 19:19 - And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army.
  • Revelation 19:20 - And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone.
  • Revelation 19:21 - And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
  • Joel 3:14 - Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
