  • Ezekiel 38:5 - Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

  • Jeremiah 50:42 - They lay hold of bow and spear; they are cruel and have no mercy. The sound of them is like the roaring of the sea; they ride on horses, arrayed as a man for battle against you, O daughter of Babylon!
  • Jeremiah 50:43 - “The king of Babylon heard the report of them, and his hands fell helpless; anguish seized him, pain as of a woman in labor.
  • Jeremiah 50:44 - “Behold, like a lion coming up from the thicket of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make them run away from her, and I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?
  • Jeremiah 50:45 - Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against Babylon, and the purposes that he has formed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of their flock shall be dragged away; surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.
  • Jeremiah 50:46 - At the sound of the capture of Babylon the earth shall tremble, and her cry shall be heard among the nations.”
  • Zechariah 14:13 - And on that day a great panic from the Lord shall fall on them, so that each will seize the hand of another, and the hand of the one will be raised against the hand of the other.
  • Zechariah 14:14 - Even Judah will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance.
  • Jeremiah 50:14 - Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around, all you who bend the bow; shoot at her, spare no arrows, for she has sinned against the Lord.
  • Jeremiah 50:15 - Raise a shout against her all around; she has surrendered; her bulwarks have fallen; her walls are thrown down. For this is the vengeance of the Lord: take vengeance on her; do to her as she has done.
  • Isaiah 22:1 - The oracle concerning the valley of vision. What do you mean that you have gone up, all of you, to the housetops,
  • Isaiah 22:2 - you who are full of shoutings, tumultuous city, exultant town? Your slain are not slain with the sword or dead in battle.
  • Isaiah 22:3 - All your leaders have fled together; without the bow they were captured. All of you who were found were captured, though they had fled far away.
  • Isaiah 22:4 - Therefore I said: “Look away from me; let me weep bitter tears; do not labor to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”
  • Isaiah 22:5 - For the Lord God of hosts has a day of tumult and trampling and confusion in the valley of vision, a battering down of walls and a shouting to the mountains.
  • Isaiah 22:6 - And Elam bore the quiver with chariots and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.
  • Isaiah 22:7 - Your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen took their stand at the gates.

  • Joel 2:2 - a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains a great and powerful people; their like has never been before, nor will be again after them through the years of all generations.
  • Joel 2:3 - Fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns. The land is like the garden of Eden before them, but behind them a desolate wilderness, and nothing escapes them.
  • Joel 2:4 - Their appearance is like the appearance of horses, and like war horses they run.
  • Joel 2:5 - As with the rumbling of chariots, they leap on the tops of the mountains, like the crackling of a flame of fire devouring the stubble, like a powerful army drawn up for battle.
  • Joel 2:6 - Before them peoples are in anguish; all faces grow pale.
  • Joel 2:7 - Like warriors they charge; like soldiers they scale the wall. They march each on his way; they do not swerve from their paths.
  • Joel 2:8 - They do not jostle one another; each marches in his path; they burst through the weapons and are not halted.
  • Joel 2:9 - They leap upon the city, they run upon the walls, they climb up into the houses, they enter through the windows like a thief.
  • Joel 2:10 - The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
  • Joel 2:11 - The Lord utters his voice before his army, for his camp is exceedingly great; he who executes his word is powerful. For the day of the Lord is great and very awesome; who can endure it?
  • Ezekiel 38:3 - and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
  • Ezekiel 38:4 - And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords.
  • Ezekiel 38:5 - Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
  • Ezekiel 38:6 - Gomer and all his hordes; Beth-togarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his hordes—many peoples are with you.
  • Ezekiel 38:7 - “Be ready and keep ready, you and all your hosts that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them.
  • Ezekiel 38:8 - After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them.
  • Ezekiel 38:9 - You will advance, coming on like a storm. You will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.
  • Ezekiel 38:10 - “Thus says the Lord God: On that day, thoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme
  • Ezekiel 38:11 - and say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon the quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’
  • Ezekiel 38:12 - to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and the people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell at the center of the earth.
  • Ezekiel 38:13 - Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its leaders will say to you, ‘Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?’
  • Ezekiel 38:14 - “Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say to Gog, Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know it?
  • Ezekiel 38:15 - You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.
  • Ezekiel 38:16 - You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I vindicate my holiness before their eyes.
  • Ezekiel 38:17 - “Thus says the Lord God: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?
  • Ezekiel 38:18 - But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord God, my wrath will be roused in my anger.
  • Ezekiel 38:19 - For in my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
  • Ezekiel 38:20 - The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.
  • Ezekiel 38:21 - I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Lord God. Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
  • Ezekiel 38:22 - With pestilence and bloodshed I will enter into judgment with him, and I will rain upon him and his hordes and the many peoples who are with him torrential rains and hailstones, fire and sulfur.
  • Ezekiel 38:23 - So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
  • Revelation 19:11 - Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.
  • Revelation 19:12 - His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself.
  • Revelation 19:13 - He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God.
  • Revelation 19:14 - And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses.
  • Revelation 19:15 - From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
  • Revelation 19:16 - On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.
  • Revelation 19:17 - Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God,
  • Revelation 19:18 - to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.”
  • Revelation 19:19 - And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army.
  • Revelation 19:20 - And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
  • Revelation 19:21 - And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.
  • Joel 3:14 - Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
