  • Malachi 4:1 - “Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them.
  • Deuteronomy 29:28 - In furious anger and in great wrath the Lord uprooted them from their land and thrust them into another land, as it is now.”
  • Isaiah 5:1 - I will sing for the one I love a song about his vineyard: My loved one had a vineyard on a fertile hillside.

  • Genesis 3:17 - To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
