  • Hebrews 10:34 - You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever.
  • Hebrews 10:35 - So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!
  • Hebrews 10:36 - Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
  • Hebrews 10:37 - “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.
  • Hebrews 10:38 - And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”
  • Hebrews 10:39 - But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.
  • 2 Corinthians 5:20 - So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
  • Hebrews 4:11 - So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
  • Hebrews 2:1 - So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.
  • Hebrews 13:12 - So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood.
  • Hebrews 13:13 - So let us go out to him, outside the camp, and bear the disgrace he bore.
  • Hebrews 13:14 - For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.
  • Hebrews 13:15 - Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name.
  • Hebrews 13:16 - And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
  • Philemon 1:8 - That is why I am boldly asking a favor of you. I could demand it in the name of Christ because it is the right thing for you to do.
  • Philemon 1:9 - But because of our love, I prefer simply to ask you. Consider this as a request from me—Paul, an old man and now also a prisoner for the sake of Christ Jesus.
  • Hebrews 4:1 - God’s promise of entering his rest still stands, so we ought to tremble with fear that some of you might fail to experience it.
  • Hebrews 12:25 - Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!
  • Hebrews 12:26 - When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.”
  • Hebrews 12:27 - This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.
  • Hebrews 12:28 - Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.
  • Hebrews 12:12 - So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.
  • Hebrews 12:13 - Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.
  • Hebrews 12:14 - Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
  • Hebrews 12:15 - Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
  • Hebrews 12:16 - Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who traded his birthright as the firstborn son for a single meal.
  • Hebrews 6:11 - Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true.
  • Hebrews 6:12 - Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.
  • Hebrews 13:1 - Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters.
  • Hebrews 13:2 - Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!
  • Hebrews 13:3 - Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies.
  • Hebrews 3:1 - And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven, think carefully about this Jesus whom we declare to be God’s messenger and High Priest.
  • 1 Peter 5:12 - I have written and sent this short letter to you with the help of Silas, whom I commend to you as a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in this grace.
