  • Genesis 31:54 - Then Jacob offered a sacrifice on the mountain and invited his relatives to eat a meal. So they ate a meal and spent the night on the mountain.
  • Genesis 31:55 - Laban got up early in the morning, kissed his grandchildren and daughters, and blessed them. Then Laban left to return home.

  • Genesis 17:15 - God said to Abraham, “As for your wife Sarai, do not call her Sarai, for Sarah will be her name.
  • Isaiah 65:15 - You will leave your name behind as a curse for my chosen ones, and the Lord God will kill you; but he will give his servants another name.
  • Isaiah 62:2 - Nations will see your righteousness and all kings, your glory. You will be given a new name that the Lord’s mouth will announce.
  • Isaiah 62:3 - You will be a glorious crown in the Lord’s hand, and a royal diadem in the palm of your God’s hand.
  • Isaiah 62:4 - You will no longer be called Deserted, and your land will not be called Desolate; instead, you will be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the Lord delights in you, and your land will be married.
  • 2 Kings 17:34 - They are still observing the former practices to this day. None of them fear the Lord or observe the statutes and ordinances, the law and commandments that the Lord had commanded the descendants of Jacob, whom he had given the name Israel.
  • Genesis 17:5 - Your name will no longer be Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I will make you the father of many nations.
  • Revelation 2:17 - “Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name is inscribed that no one knows except the one who receives it.
  • Genesis 35:10 - God said to him, “Your name is Jacob; you will no longer be named Jacob, but your name will be Israel.” So he named him Israel.
