Exodus 34:6 - As he passed in front of Moses, he called out. He said, “I am the Lord, the Lord. I am the God who is tender and kind. I am gracious. I am slow to get angry. I am faithful and full of love.
Psalm 106:8 - But he saved them for the honor of his name. He did it to make his mighty power known.

2 Peter 2:9 - Since all this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people. He knows how to keep them safe in times of testing. The Lord also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard. He will do so until the day they will be judged and punished.
Romans 9:15 - He said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy. I will show love to those I love.” ( Exodus 33:19 )
Romans 9:16 - So it doesn’t depend on what people want or what they do. It depends on God’s mercy.
