  • Numbers 26:53 - “The land is to be divided among them as an inheritance based on the number of names.
  • Numbers 26:54 - Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one. Each is to be given its inheritance according to those who were registered in it.
  • Numbers 26:55 - The land is to be divided by lot; they will receive an inheritance according to the names of their ancestral tribes.

  • Numbers 26:57 - These were the Levites registered by their clans: the Gershonite clan from Gershon; the Kohathite clan from Kohath; the Merarite clan from Merari.
  • Numbers 26:58 - These were the Levite family groups: the Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, and the Korahite clan. Kohath was the ancestor of Amram.
  • Numbers 26:59 - The name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, a descendant of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. She bore to Amram: Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.
  • Numbers 26:60 - Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar were born to Aaron,
  • Numbers 26:61 - but Nadab and Abihu died when they presented unauthorized fire before the Lord.
  • Numbers 26:62 - Those registered were 23,000, every male one month old or more; they were not registered among the other Israelites, because no inheritance was given to them among the Israelites.

  • Genesis 36:6 - Esau took his wives, sons, daughters, and all the people of his household, as well as his herds, all his livestock, and all the property he had acquired in Canaan; he went to a land away from his brother Jacob.

  • Numbers 26:33 - Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons — only daughters. The names of Zelophehad’s daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

  • Genesis 13:16 - I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust of the earth, then your offspring could be counted.
  • Genesis 32:12 - You have said, ‘I will cause you to prosper, and I will make your offspring like the sand of the sea, too numerous to be counted.’”
  • Genesis 25:1 - Abraham had taken another wife, whose name was Keturah,

  • Genesis 25:8 - He took his last breath and died at a good old age, old and contented, and he was gathered to his people.
  • Genesis 25:9 - His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hethite.
  • Genesis 25:10 - This was the field that Abraham bought from the Hethites. Abraham was buried there with his wife Sarah.

  • Genesis 25:16 - These are Ishmael’s sons, and these are their names by their settlements and encampments: twelve leaders of their clans.
  • Genesis 25:17 - This is the length of Ishmael’s life: 137 years. He took his last breath and died, and was gathered to his people.
  • Genesis 25:18 - And they settled from Havilah to Shur, which is opposite Egypt as you go toward Asshur. He stayed near all his relatives.
  • Genesis 36:1 - These are the family records of Esau (that is, Edom ).
  • Genesis 36:2 - Esau took his wives from the Canaanite women: Adah daughter of Elon the Hethite, Oholibamah daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
  • Genesis 36:3 - and Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.
  • Genesis 36:4 - Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,
  • Genesis 36:5 - and Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These were Esau’s sons, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
  • Genesis 36:6 - Esau took his wives, sons, daughters, and all the people of his household, as well as his herds, all his livestock, and all the property he had acquired in Canaan; he went to a land away from his brother Jacob.
  • Genesis 36:7 - For their possessions were too many for them to live together, and because of their herds, the land where they stayed could not support them.
  • Genesis 36:8 - So Esau (that is, Edom) lived in the mountains of Seir.
  • Genesis 36:9 - These are the family records of Esau, father of the Edomites in the mountains of Seir.
  • Genesis 36:10 - These are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz son of Esau’s wife Adah, and Reuel son of Esau’s wife Basemath.

  • Genesis 36:12 - Timna, a concubine of Esau’s son Eliphaz, bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These are the sons of Esau’s wife Adah.
  • Genesis 36:13 - These are Reuel’s sons: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These are the sons of Esau’s wife Basemath.
  • Genesis 36:14 - These are the sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon: She bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah to Edom.

  • Genesis 36:18 - These are the sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah: chief Jeush, chief Jalam, and chief Korah. These are the chiefs descended from Esau’s wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah.
  • Genesis 36:19 - These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their chiefs.
  • Genesis 36:20 - These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
  • Genesis 36:21 - Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs among the Horites, the sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.
  • Genesis 36:22 - The sons of Lotan were Hori and Heman. Timna was Lotan’s sister.
  • Genesis 36:23 - These are Shobal’s sons: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
  • Genesis 36:24 - These are Zibeon’s sons: Aiah and Anah. This was the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness while he was pasturing the donkeys of his father Zibeon.
  • Genesis 36:25 - These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah daughter of Anah.
  • Genesis 36:26 - These are Dishon’s sons: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
  • Genesis 36:27 - These are Ezer’s sons: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
  • Genesis 36:28 - These are Dishan’s sons: Uz and Aran.
  • Genesis 36:29 - These are the chiefs among the Horites: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,
  • Genesis 36:30 - chief Dishon, chief Ezer, and chief Dishan. These are the chiefs among the Horites, clan by clan, in the land of Seir.
  • Genesis 36:31 - These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites:
  • Genesis 36:32 - Bela son of Beor reigned in Edom; the name of his city was Dinhabah.
  • Genesis 36:33 - When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned in his place.
  • Genesis 36:34 - When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
  • Genesis 36:35 - When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad reigned in his place. He defeated Midian in the field of Moab; the name of his city was Avith.
  • Genesis 36:36 - When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.
  • Genesis 36:37 - When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the Euphrates River reigned in his place.
  • Genesis 36:38 - When Shaul died, Baal-hanan son of Achbor reigned in his place.
  • Genesis 36:39 - When Baal-hanan son of Achbor died, Hadar reigned in his place. His city was Pau, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred daughter of Me-zahab.
  • Genesis 36:40 - These are the names of Esau’s chiefs, according to their families and their localities, by their names: chief Timna, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
  • Genesis 36:41 - chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
  • Genesis 36:42 - chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
  • Genesis 36:43 - chief Magdiel, and chief Iram. These are Edom’s chiefs, according to their settlements in the land they possessed. Esau was father of the Edomites.
  • Galatians 3:28 - There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male and female; since you are all one in Christ Jesus.
