James 2:9 - But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin. You are guilty of breaking the law.
James 2:10 - For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws.
James 2:11 - For the same God who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.
Jeremiah 11:3 - Say to them, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Cursed is anyone who does not obey the terms of my covenant!
Romans 3:19 - Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God.
Romans 3:20 - For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
Romans 8:7 - For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.
Deuteronomy 27:26 - ‘Cursed is anyone who does not affirm and obey the terms of these instructions.’ And all the people will reply, ‘Amen.’
