  • Numbers 29:1 - ‘On the first day of the seventh month, you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work. It will be for you a day of blowing the trumpets (the shophar, ram’s horn).
  • Numbers 29:2 - You shall offer a burnt offering as a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old without blemish;
  • Numbers 29:3 - also their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenths [of an ephah] for the bull, two-tenths for the ram,
  • Numbers 29:4 - and one-tenth [of an ephah] for each of the seven lambs,
  • Numbers 29:5 - and one male goat as a sin offering to make atonement for you.
  • Numbers 29:6 - These are in addition to the burnt offering of the New Moon and its grain offering, and the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings, according to the ordinance for them, as a sweet and soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the Lord.
  • Numbers 29:7 - ‘Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly [for the Day of Atonement]; and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.
  • Numbers 29:8 - You shall present a burnt offering to the Lord as a sweet and soothing aroma: one bull, one ram, and seven male lambs one year old, which are without blemish;
  • Numbers 29:9 - and their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenths [of an ephah] for the bull, two-tenths for the one ram,
  • Numbers 29:10 - a tenth [of an ephah] for each of the seven lambs,
  • Numbers 29:11 - one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering and its grain offering, and their drink offerings.
  • Numbers 29:12 - ‘Then on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy [summoned] assembly; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall observe a Feast [of Booths] to the Lord for seven days.
  • Numbers 29:13 - You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire as a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord: thirteen bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old, which are without blemish;
  • Numbers 29:14 - and their grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three-tenths [of an ephah] for each of the thirteen bulls, two-tenths for each of the two rams,
  • Numbers 29:15 - and a tenth [of an ephah] for each of the fourteen lambs;
  • Numbers 29:16 - also one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, its grain offering and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 29:17 - ‘Then on the second day [of the Feast of Booths]: twelve bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs one year old without blemish,
  • Numbers 29:18 - with their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance,
  • Numbers 29:19 - also one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and their drink offerings.
  • Numbers 29:20 - ‘Then on the third day [of the Feast of Booths]: eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs one year old without blemish,
  • Numbers 29:21 - with their grain offering and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance,
  • Numbers 29:22 - and one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 29:23 - ‘Then on the fourth day [of the Feast of Booths]: ten bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without blemish;
  • Numbers 29:24 - their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance,
  • Numbers 29:25 - and one male goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 29:26 - ‘Then on the fifth day [of the Feast of Booths]: nine bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without blemish,
  • Numbers 29:27 - and their grain offering and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;
  • Numbers 29:28 - and one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, and its grain offering, and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 29:29 - ‘Then on the sixth day [of the Feast of Booths]: eight bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without blemish;
  • Numbers 29:30 - and their grain offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance,
  • Numbers 29:31 - and one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, its grain offering, and its drink offerings.
  • Numbers 29:32 - ‘Then on the seventh day [of the Feast of Booths]: seven bulls, two rams, and fourteen male lambs one year old without blemish,
  • Numbers 29:33 - and their grain offering and drink offerings for the bulls, the rams, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance;
  • Numbers 29:34 - and one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, and its grain offering, and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 29:35 - ‘On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly [to mark the end of the feast]; you shall do no laborious work.
  • Numbers 29:36 - You shall present a burnt offering, an offering by fire, as a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord: one bull, one ram, seven male lambs one year old without blemish;
  • Numbers 29:37 - their grain offering and drink offerings for the bull, the ram, and the lambs, by their number according to the ordinance,
  • Numbers 29:38 - and one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the continual burnt offering, and its grain offering, and its drink offering.
  • Numbers 29:39 - ‘You shall present these to the Lord at your appointed times, in addition the offerings you have vowed and your freewill offerings, as your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings, and as your peace offerings.’ ”
  • Numbers 29:40 - So Moses spoke to the Israelites in accordance with everything that the Lord had commanded him.
  • Exodus 23:14 - “Three times a year you shall celebrate a feast [dedicated] to Me.
  • Exodus 23:15 - You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. No one shall appear before Me empty-handed [but you shall bring sacrificial offerings].
  • Exodus 23:16 - Also [you shall observe] the Feast of Harvest (Weeks, Pentecost, or First Fruits), acknowledging the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. And [third] the Feast of Ingathering (Booths or Tabernacles) at the end of the year when you gather in [the fruit of] your labors from the field.
  • Exodus 23:17 - Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord God.
  • 1 Corinthians 1:10 - But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith].
  • Acts 4:32 - Now the company of believers was of one heart and soul, and not one [of them] claimed that anything belonging to him was [exclusively] his own, but everything was common property and for the use of all.

  • Leviticus 16:29 - “This shall be a permanent statute for you: in the seventh month (nearly October) on the tenth day of the month you shall humble yourselves [by fasting] and not do any work, whether the native-born or the stranger who lives temporarily among you;
  • Leviticus 23:27 - “Also the tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble yourselves [by fasting] and present an offering by fire to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:28 - You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the Lord your God.
  • Leviticus 23:29 - If there is any person who will not humble himself on this same day, he shall be cut off from his people [excluding him from the atonement made for them].
  • Leviticus 23:30 - If there is any person who does any work on this same day, I will destroy that person from among his people.
  • Leviticus 23:31 - You shall do no work at all [on that day]. It is a permanent statute throughout your generations wherever you may be.
  • Leviticus 23:32 - It is to be to you a Sabbath of complete rest, and you shall humble yourselves. On the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening you shall keep your Sabbath.”
  • Leviticus 23:33 - Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
  • Leviticus 23:34 - “Say to the children of Israel, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, and for seven days, is the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles) to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:35 - The first day is a holy convocation (calling together); you shall not do any laborious work [on that day].
  • Leviticus 23:36 - For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the Lord. It is a festive assembly; you shall not do any laborious work [on that day].
  • Leviticus 23:37 - ‘These are the appointed times (established feasts) of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to present an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, sacrifices and drink offerings, each on its own day.
  • Leviticus 23:38 - This is in addition to the [weekly] Sabbaths of the Lord, and in addition to your gifts and all your vowed offerings and all your freewill offerings, which you give to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 23:39 - ‘On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month (nearly October), when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord for seven days, with a Sabbath rest on the first day and a Sabbath rest on the eighth day.
  • Leviticus 23:40 - Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick (leafy) trees, and willows of the brook [and make booths of them]; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.
  • Leviticus 23:41 - You shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It shall be a permanent statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
  • Leviticus 23:42 - You shall live in booths (temporary shelters) for seven days; all native-born in Israel shall live in booths,
  • Leviticus 23:43 - so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’ ”
  • Leviticus 23:44 - So Moses declared to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the Lord.
  • Zephaniah 3:9 - Then I will give to the peoples [clear and pure speech from] purified lips [which reflect their purified hearts], That all of them may call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder (united).
  • Leviticus 23:24 - “Say to the children of Israel, ‘On the first day of the seventh month (almost October), you shall observe a day of solemn sabbatical rest, a memorial day announced by the blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
