The people of Judah were taken away from their own land. They were taken as prisoners to Babylon. That’s because they weren’t faithful to the Lord.
1 Chronicles 9:2 - The first people who came back from Babylon were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants. They made their homes again in their own towns on their own property.
1 Chronicles 9:3 - Some of them lived in Jerusalem. They included people from Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim and Manasseh.
Ephesians 2:13 - At one time you were far away from God. But now you belong to Christ Jesus. He spilled his blood for you. This has brought you near to God.
Ephesians 2:14 - Christ himself is our peace. He has made Jews and Gentiles into one group of people. He has destroyed the hatred that was like a wall between us.
Zechariah 10:6 - “I will make the family of Judah strong. I will save the tribes of Joseph. I will bring them back because I have tender love for them. It will be as if I had not sent them away. I am the Lord their God. I will help them.
