Jeremiah 49:7 - Concerning Edom. This is what the Lord of armies says: “Is there no longer any wisdom in Teman? Has good advice been lost by the prudent? Has their wisdom decayed?

Lamentations 4:21 - Rejoice and be joyful, daughter of Edom, Who lives in the land of Uz; But the cup will pass to you as well, You will become drunk and expose yourself.
Isaiah 34:1 - Come near, you nations, to hear; and listen, you peoples! Let the earth and all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.
Isaiah 34:2 - For the Lord’s anger is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies. He has utterly destroyed them, He has turned them over to slaughter.
Isaiah 34:3 - So their slain will be thrown out, And their corpses will give off their stench, And the mountains will be drenched with their blood.
Isaiah 34:4 - And all the heavenly lights will wear away, And the sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All its lights will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as one withers from the fig tree.
Isaiah 34:5 - For My sword has drunk its fill in heaven; Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom, And upon the people whom I have designated for destruction.
Isaiah 34:6 - The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, It drips with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
Isaiah 34:7 - Wild oxen will also fall with them And young bulls with strong ones; So their land will be soaked with blood, And their dust become greasy with fat.
Isaiah 34:8 - For the Lord has a day of vengeance, A year of retribution for the cause of Zion.
Isaiah 34:9 - Its streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch.
Isaiah 34:10 - It will not be extinguished night or day; Its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever.
Isaiah 34:11 - But pelican and hedgehog will possess it, And owl and raven will dwell in it; And He will stretch over it the line of desolation And the plumb line of emptiness.
Isaiah 34:12 - Its nobles—there is no one there Whom they may proclaim king— And all its officials will be nothing.
Isaiah 34:13 - Thorns will come up in its fortified towers, Weeds and thistles in its fortified cities; It will also be a haunt of jackals And a habitat of ostriches.
Isaiah 34:14 - The desert creatures will meet with the wolves, The goat also will cry to its kind. Yes, the night-bird will settle there And will find herself a resting place.
Isaiah 34:15 - The tree snake will make its nest and lay eggs there, And it will hatch and gather them under its protection. Yes, the hawks will be gathered there, Every one with its kind.
Isaiah 34:16 - Seek from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these will be missing; None will lack its mate. For His mouth has commanded, And His Spirit has gathered them.
Isaiah 34:17 - He has cast the lot for them, And His hand has divided it to them by the measuring line. They shall possess it forever; From generation to generation they will dwell in it.
Proverbs 24:17 - Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart rejoice when he stumbles,

Jeremiah 25:20 - and to all the foreign people, all the kings of the land of Uz, all the kings of the land of the Philistines (that is, Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod);
Jeremiah 25:21 - To Edom, Moab, and the sons of Ammon;
Jeremiah 25:22 - and to all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastlands which are beyond the sea;
Jeremiah 25:23 - and to Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who trim the corners of their hair;
Jeremiah 25:24 - and to all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the foreign people who live in the desert;
Jeremiah 25:25 - and to all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media;
Jeremiah 25:26 - and to all the kings of the north, near and far, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the earth which are on the face of the ground; and the king of Sheshach shall drink it after them.
Jeremiah 25:27 - “And you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Drink, be drunk, vomit, fall down, and do not get up, because of the sword which I am sending among you.” ’
Jeremiah 25:28 - And if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, ‘This is what the Lord of armies says: “You shall certainly drink!
Jeremiah 25:29 - For behold, I am beginning to inflict disaster on this city which is called by My name, so should you be completely free from punishment? You will not be free from punishment, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth,” declares the Lord of armies.’
Micah 7:8 - Do not rejoice over me, enemy of mine. Though I fall I will rise; Though I live in darkness, the Lord is a light for me.
