Hesekiel 34:2 - »Du Mensch, richte den führenden Männern von Israel diese Worte aus! So spricht Gott, der Herr: Wehe euch, ihr Führer Israels! Ihr solltet für mein Volk wie Hirten sein, die ihre Herde auf eine gute Weide führen. Aber ihr sorgt nur für euch selbst.
Römer 9:7 - Nicht alle Nachkommen von Abraham sind wirklich seine Kinder. Denn Gott hatte zu Abraham gesagt: »Nur die Nachkommen deines Sohnes Isaak werden das auserwählte Volk sein.«
1. Thessalonicher 5:3 - Wenn sich die Leute in Sicherheit wiegen und sagen werden: »Überall ist Ruhe und Frieden«, wird sie das Ende so plötzlich überfallen wie die Wehen eine schwangere Frau. Es wird für niemanden mehr einen Ausweg aus dem Verderben geben.
Matthäus 3:9 - Bildet euch nur nicht ein, ihr könntet euch damit herausreden: ›Abraham ist unser Vater!‹ Ich sage euch: Gott kann selbst aus diesen Steinen hier Nachkommen für Abraham hervorbringen.
Jeremia 39:10 - Nur die arme Landbevölkerung, die nichts besaß, ließ er zurück und teilte ihnen Weinberge und Äcker zu.
Römer 4:12 - Doch Abraham ist ebenso der Vater der Beschnittenen. Allerdings genügt die Beschneidung nicht, um zu seinen Nachkommen gezählt zu werden. Entscheidend ist vielmehr, dass wir seinem Beispiel folgen und denselben Glauben haben, den unser Vater Abraham schon vor seiner Beschneidung hatte.
Lukas 3:8 - Zeigt durch Taten, dass ihr wirklich zu Gott umkehren wollt! Bildet euch nur nicht ein, ihr könntet euch damit herausreden: ›Abraham ist unser Vater!‹ Ich sage euch: Gott kann selbst aus diesen Steinen hier Nachkommen für Abraham hervorbringen.
Hesekiel 36:4 - Darum hört, was ich, Gott, der Herr, zu sagen habe: Ihr Berge und Hügel, ihr Bäche und Täler, ihr Trümmerfelder und menschenleeren Städte, die ihr geplündert und von den restlichen Nachbarvölkern verspottet wurdet,
Jeremia 40:7 - Im Landesinneren hielten sich immer noch judäische Offiziere mit ihren Einheiten versteckt. Sie hörten, dass der König von Babylonien Gedalja, den Sohn von Ahikam, zum Statthalter von Juda ernannt hatte. Ihm war die Verantwortung übertragen worden für die Männer, Frauen und Kinder aus der armen Landbevölkerung, die nicht in die Verbannung nach Babylonien ziehen mussten.
Jesaja 51:2 - Ja, denkt an euren Vater Abraham und an Sara, eure Mutter. Als ich Abraham rief, war er kinderlos. Doch dann habe ich ihn gesegnet und ihm viele Nachkommen geschenkt.
Apostelgeschichte 7:5 - Zwar gab Gott ihm hier kein eigenes Land – nicht einmal einen Fußbreit –, doch er sagte zu ihm, dass ihm und seinen Nachkommen einmal das ganze Land gehören würde. Zu der Zeit aber hatte Abraham noch keine Kinder!
Hesekiel 33:27 - Nein! Ich, Gott, der Herr, schwöre, so wahr ich lebe: Alle, die in den zerstörten Städten wohnen, werden mit dem Schwert getötet. Wer auf dem Land lebt, den werden die wilden Tiere zerreißen. Wer in Bergfestungen und Höhlen geflohen ist, der stirbt an der Pest.
