Isaiah 13:15 - Everyone who is caught will be stabbed; everyone who is seized will die by the sword.

Jeremiah 46:1 - The Lord spoke to Jeremiah about the nations.
Jeremiah 46:2 - He spoke about Egypt and the army of Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt which was encamped along the Euphrates River at Carchemish. Now this was the army that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon defeated in the fourth year that Jehoiakim son of Josiah was ruling over Judah.
Jeremiah 46:3 - “Fall into ranks with your shields ready! Prepare to march into battle!
Jeremiah 46:4 - Harness the horses to the chariots! Mount your horses! Put on your helmets and take your positions! Sharpen you spears! Put on your armor!
Jeremiah 46:5 - What do I see?” says the Lord. “The soldiers are terrified. They are retreating. They have been defeated. They are overcome with terror; they desert quickly without looking back.
Jeremiah 46:6 - But even the swiftest cannot get away. Even the strongest cannot escape. There in the north by the Euphrates River they stumble and fall in defeat.

Jeremiah 46:18 - I the King, whose name is the Lord who rules over all, swear this: I swear as surely as I live that a conqueror is coming. He will be as imposing as Mount Tabor is among the mountains, as Mount Carmel is against the backdrop of the sea.

Zechariah 1:15 - But I am greatly displeased with the nations that take my grace for granted. I was a little displeased with them, but they have only made things worse for themselves.
Jeremiah 23:6 - Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by: ‘The Lord has provided us with justice.’
Jeremiah 23:7 - “So I, the Lord, say: ‘A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with “I swear as surely as the Lord lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.”
Jeremiah 23:8 - But at that time they will affirm them with “I swear as surely as the Lord lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them.” At that time they will live in their own land.’”
Isaiah 13:1 - This is a message about Babylon that God revealed to Isaiah son of Amoz:
Isaiah 13:2 - On a bare hill raise a signal flag, shout to them, wave your hand, so they might enter the gates of the princes!
Isaiah 13:3 - I have given orders to my chosen soldiers; I have summoned the warriors through whom I will vent my anger, my boasting, arrogant ones.
Isaiah 13:4 - There is a loud noise on the mountains – it sounds like a large army! There is great commotion among the kingdoms – nations are being assembled! The Lord who commands armies is mustering forces for battle.
Isaiah 13:5 - They come from a distant land, from the horizon. It is the Lord with his instruments of judgment, coming to destroy the whole earth.
Isaiah 13:6 - Wail, for the Lord’s day of judgment is near; it comes with all the destructive power of the sovereign judge.
Isaiah 13:7 - For this reason all hands hang limp, every human heart loses its courage.
Isaiah 13:8 - They panic – cramps and pain seize hold of them like those of a woman who is straining to give birth. They look at one another in astonishment; their faces are flushed red.
Isaiah 13:9 - Look, the Lord’s day of judgment is coming; it is a day of cruelty and savage, raging anger, destroying the earth and annihilating its sinners.
Isaiah 13:10 - Indeed the stars in the sky and their constellations no longer give out their light; the sun is darkened as soon as it rises, and the moon does not shine.
Isaiah 13:11 - I will punish the world for its evil, and wicked people for their sin. I will put an end to the pride of the insolent, I will bring down the arrogance of tyrants.
Isaiah 13:12 - I will make human beings more scarce than pure gold, and people more scarce than gold from Ophir.
Isaiah 13:13 - So I will shake the heavens, and the earth will shake loose from its foundation, because of the fury of the Lord who commands armies, in the day he vents his raging anger.
Isaiah 13:14 - Like a frightened gazelle or a sheep with no shepherd, each will turn toward home, each will run to his homeland.
Isaiah 13:15 - Everyone who is caught will be stabbed; everyone who is seized will die by the sword.
Isaiah 13:16 - Their children will be smashed to pieces before their very eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives raped.
Isaiah 13:17 - Look, I am stirring up the Medes to attack them; they are not concerned about silver, nor are they interested in gold.
Isaiah 13:18 - Their arrows will cut young men to ribbons; they have no compassion on a person’s offspring, they will not look with pity on children.
Isaiah 13:19 - Babylon, the most admired of kingdoms, the Chaldeans’ source of honor and pride, will be destroyed by God just as Sodom and Gomorrah were.
Isaiah 13:20 - No one will live there again; no one will ever reside there again. No bedouin will camp there, no shepherds will rest their flocks there.
Isaiah 13:21 - Wild animals will rest there, the ruined houses will be full of hyenas. Ostriches will live there, wild goats will skip among the ruins.
Ezekiel 34:25 - “‘I will make a covenant of peace with them and will rid the land of wild beasts, so that they can live securely in the wilderness and even sleep in the woods.
Ezekiel 34:26 - I will turn them and the regions around my hill into a blessing. I will make showers come down in their season; they will be showers that bring blessing.
Ezekiel 34:27 - The trees of the field will yield their fruit and the earth will yield its crops. They will live securely on their land; they will know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
Ezekiel 34:28 - They will no longer be prey for the nations and the wild beasts will not devour them. They will live securely and no one will make them afraid.
Amos 9:13 - “Be sure of this, the time is coming,” says the Lord, “when the plowman will catch up to the reaper and the one who stomps the grapes will overtake the planter. Juice will run down the slopes, it will flow down all the hillsides.
Amos 9:14 - I will bring back my people, Israel; they will rebuild the cities lying in rubble and settle down. They will plant vineyards and drink the wine they produce; they will grow orchards and eat the fruit they produce.
Jeremiah 32:15 - For the Lord God of Israel who rules over all says, “Houses, fields, and vineyards will again be bought in this land.”’
Ezekiel 38:8 - After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come to a land restored from the ravages of war, with many peoples gathered on the mountains of Israel that had long been in ruins. Its people were brought out from the peoples, and all of them will be living securely.
Ezekiel 28:22 - Say, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: “‘Look, I am against you, Sidon, and I will magnify myself in your midst. Then they will know that I am the Lord when I execute judgments on her and reveal my sovereign power in her.
Ezekiel 28:24 - “‘No longer will Israel suffer from the sharp briers or painful thorns of all who surround and scorn them. Then they will know that I am the sovereign Lord.
