  • Exodus 19:5 - And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,
  • Exodus 19:6 - and you will be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you will speak to the Israelites.”
  • Romans 9:15 - For he says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”

  • Psalms 105:34 - He ordered locusts to come, innumerable grasshoppers.
  • Psalms 105:35 - They ate all the vegetation in their land, and devoured the crops of their fields.
  • Psalms 105:36 - He struck down all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of their reproductive power.
  • Psalms 105:37 - He brought his people out enriched with silver and gold; none of his tribes stumbled.
  • Deuteronomy 9:4 - Do not think to yourself after the Lord your God has driven them out before you, “Because of my own righteousness the Lord has brought me here to possess this land.” It is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out ahead of you.
  • Isaiah 14:19 - But you have been thrown out of your grave like a shoot that is thrown away. You lie among the slain, among those who have been slashed by the sword, among those headed for the stones of the pit, as if you were a mangled corpse.
  • Exodus 3:7 - The Lord said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt. I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.
  • Exodus 3:8 - I have come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a land that is both good and spacious, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the region of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites.
  • Isaiah 51:23 - I will put it into the hand of your tormentors who said to you, ‘Lie down, so we can walk over you.’ You made your back like the ground, and like the street for those who walked over you.”
  • Hebrews 10:29 - How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?
  • Matthew 5:13 - “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people.
  • Ephesians 2:4 - But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us,

  • John 5:25 - I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming – and is now here – when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
