Psalm 78:8 - They would not be like their ancestors— a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him.

Ezekiel 33:15 - if they give back what they took in pledge for a loan, return what they have stolen, follow the decrees that give life, and do no evil—that person will surely live; they will not die.
Ezekiel 33:16 - None of the sins that person has committed will be remembered against them. They have done what is just and right; they will surely live.
Joshua 5:6 - The Israelites had moved about in the wilderness forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the Lord. For the Lord had sworn to them that they would not see the land he had solemnly promised their ancestors to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Acts 7:51 - “You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!
Deuteronomy 9:6 - Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

Deuteronomy 9:11 - At the end of the forty days and forty nights, the Lord gave me the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant.
Deuteronomy 9:12 - Then the Lord told me, “Go down from here at once, because your people whom you brought out of Egypt have become corrupt. They have turned away quickly from what I commanded them and have made an idol for themselves.”
Deuteronomy 9:13 - And the Lord said to me, “I have seen this people, and they are a stiff-necked people indeed!
Exodus 3:8 - So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
Exodus 32:9 - “I have seen these people,” the Lord said to Moses, “and they are a stiff-necked people.
Exodus 32:10 - Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.”
