- Numbers 4:19 - But deal with them in this way, so that they may live and not die when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and assign each of them to his [specific] work and to his load [to be carried on the march].

- Ezekiel 43:11 - If they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the design of the temple (house), its layout, its exits, its entrances, all its designs, all its statutes, and all its laws. And write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its whole design and all its statutes and do them.

- Ezekiel 43:16 - Now the altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides.
- Ezekiel 43:17 - The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide on its four sides, and the border around it shall be half a cubit; and its base shall be a cubit all around, and its steps shall face the east.”
- Ezekiel 43:18 - And He [the Lord] said to me, “Son of man, thus says the Lord God, ‘These are the statutes and regulations for [the use of] the altar on the day that it is built, to offer burnt offerings on it and to sprinkle blood on it.
- Ezekiel 43:19 - You shall give to the priests, the Levites who are from the descendants of Zadok, who are close to Me to minister to Me,’ says the Lord God, ‘a young bull for a sin offering [as a memorial to Christ’s sacrifice].
- Ezekiel 43:20 - And you shall take some of its blood and put it on the four horns [of the altar of burnt offering] and on the four corners of the ledge and on the border all around; thus you shall cleanse it (from sin) and make atonement for it.

- Exodus 37:5 - He put the carrying poles through the rings at the sides of the ark, to carry it.
- Exodus 37:6 - Bezalel made the mercy seat of pure gold; it was two and a half cubits long, and one and a half cubits wide.
- Exodus 37:7 - He made two cherubim of hammered gold; he made them at the two ends of the mercy seat,
- Exodus 37:8 - one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end; he made the cherubim [of one piece] with the mercy seat at the two ends.
- Exodus 37:9 - The cherubim spread out their wings upward, covering and protecting the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward each other; the faces of the cherubim were [looking downward] toward the mercy seat.
- Exodus 37:10 - Bezalel made the table [for the bread] of acacia wood; it was two cubits long, a cubit wide, and one and a half cubits high.
- Exodus 37:11 - He overlaid it with pure gold, and made a border of gold for it all around [its top].
- Exodus 37:12 - He made a rim for it [just under the top] a hand width wide all around, and a border of gold around its rim.
- Exodus 37:13 - He cast four rings of gold for it and fastened the rings to the four corners that were at its four legs.
- Exodus 37:14 - Close by the rim were the rings, the holders for the poles [to pass through] to carry the table.
- Exodus 37:15 - Bezalel made the carrying poles of acacia wood to carry the table and overlaid them with gold.
- Exodus 37:16 - He made the utensils which were to be on the table, its dishes and its pans [for bread], its bowls and its jars for pouring drink offerings, of pure gold.
- Exodus 37:17 - Then he made the lampstand (menorah) of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work, its base and its [center] shaft; its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers were all of one piece with it.
- Exodus 37:18 - There were six branches coming out of the sides of the lampstand, three branches from one side of the center shaft and three branches from the other side of it;
- Exodus 37:19 - three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a calyx and a flower in one branch, and three cups shaped like almond blossoms, a calyx and a flower in the opposite branch—so for the six branches coming out of the center shaft of the lampstand.
- Exodus 37:20 - On the center shaft of the lampstand there were four cups shaped like almond blossoms, with calyxes and flowers [one at the top];
- Exodus 37:21 - and a calyx was under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a calyx under the second pair of branches, coming out of it, and a calyx under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.
- Exodus 37:22 - Their calyxes and their branches were of one piece with it; all of it was a single hammered work of pure gold.
- Exodus 37:23 - He made its seven lamps with its snuffers and its trays of pure gold.
- Exodus 37:24 - He made the lampstand and all its utensils from a talent of pure gold.
- Exodus 37:25 - Then Bezalel made the incense altar of acacia wood; its top was a cubit square and it was two cubits high; the horns were of one piece with it.
- Exodus 37:26 - He overlaid it with pure gold, its top, its sides all around and its horns; he also made a rim of gold around it.
- Exodus 37:27 - He made two rings of gold for it under its rim, on its two opposite sides, as holders for the poles [to pass through] to carry it.
- Exodus 37:28 - He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
- Exodus 37:29 - He also made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense of spices, the work of a perfumer.

- 1 Kings 6:1 - Now it came about in the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv (April-May) which is the second month, that he began to build the Lord’s house (temple).
- 1 Kings 6:2 - The length of the house which King Solomon built for the Lord was sixty cubits (90 ft.), its width twenty (30 ft.), and its height thirty cubits (45 ft.).
- 1 Kings 6:3 - The porch in front of the main room of the house (temple) was twenty cubits long, corresponding to the width of the house, and its depth in front of the house was ten cubits.
- 1 Kings 6:4 - He also made framed (artistic) window openings for the house.
- 1 Kings 6:5 - Against the wall of the house he built extensions around the walls of the house, around both the main room (Holy Place) and the Holy of Holies; and he made side chambers all around.
- 1 Kings 6:6 - The lowest story was five cubits wide, the middle was six cubits wide, and the third was seven cubits wide; for he made offsets (niches) in the walls all around on the outside of the house so that the supporting beams would not be inserted into the walls of the house.
- 1 Kings 6:7 - While it was being built, the house was built of stone prepared and finished (precut) at the quarry, and no hammer, axe, or iron tool of any kind was heard in the house while it was under construction.
- 1 Kings 6:8 - The entrance to the lowest side chamber was on the right [or south] side of the house; and they would go up winding stairs to the middle [level], and from the middle to the third.
- Exodus 6:26 - These are [the same] Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said, “Bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.”
- Ezra 5:1 - Now when the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah, the son (grandson) of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, whose Spirit was over them,
- Ezra 5:2 - then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel [heir to the throne of Judah] and Jeshua the son of Jozadak arose and began to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God [Haggai and Zechariah] were with them, supporting and encouraging them.
