  • Isaiah 56:5 - I will give them, in my house and within my walls, a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters. I will give each of them an everlasting name that will never be cut off.
  • Isaiah 56:6 - As for the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to become his servants — all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold firmly to my covenant —
  • Numbers 15:32 - While the Israelites were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
  • Numbers 15:33 - Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses, Aaron, and the entire community.
  • Numbers 15:34 - They placed him in custody because it had not been decided what should be done to him.
  • Numbers 15:35 - Then the Lord told Moses, “The man is to be put to death. The entire community is to stone him outside the camp.”
  • Numbers 15:36 - So the entire community brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
  • Exodus 35:2 - For six days work is to be done, but on the seventh day you are to have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord. Anyone who does work on it must be executed.
  • Exodus 35:3 - Do not light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.”
