  • Ecclesiastes 8:9 - All this I have seen, and applied my mind to every work that is done under the sun. There is a time in which one man has power over another to his hurt.

  • Genesis 19:37 - The firstborn bore a son, and named him Moab. He is the father of the Moabites to this day.
  • Genesis 19:38 - The younger also bore a son, and called his name Ben Ammi. He is the father of the children of Ammon to this day.
  • Genesis 19:14 - Lot went out, and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry his daughters, and said, “Get up! Get out of this place, for Yahweh will destroy the city!” But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be joking.
  • Luke 16:22 - The beggar died, and he was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried.
  • Luke 16:23 - In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom.
  • Luke 18:22 - When Jesus heard these things, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have, and distribute it to the poor. Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”

  • Ecclesiastes 6:1 - There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is heavy on men:
  • Ecclesiastes 6:2 - a man to whom God gives riches, wealth, and honor, so that he lacks nothing for his soul of all that he desires, yet God gives him no power to eat of it, but an alien eats it. This is vanity, and it is an evil disease.
