Psalm 139:16 - your eyes saw my body even before it was formed. You planned how many days I would live. You wrote down the number of them in your book before I had lived through even one of them.
Job 26:5 - “The spirits of the dead are suffering greatly. So are those that are under the waters. And so are all those that live in them.
Job 26:6 - The place of the dead is naked in the sight of God. The grave lies open in front of him.
Job 26:7 - He spreads out the northern skies over empty space. He hangs the earth over nothing.
Job 26:8 - He wraps up water in his clouds. They are heavy, but they don’t burst.
Job 26:9 - He covers the face of the full moon. He spreads his clouds over it.
Job 26:10 - He marks out the place where the sky meets the sea. He marks out the boundary between light and darkness.
Job 26:11 - The pillars of the heavens shake. They are terrified when his anger blazes out.
Job 26:12 - With his power he stirred up the oceans. In his wisdom he cut the sea monster Rahab to pieces.
Job 26:13 - His breath made the skies bright and clear. His hand wounded the serpent that glides through the sea.
Job 26:14 - Those are only on the edges of what he does. They are only the soft whispers that we hear from him. So who can understand how very powerful he is?”
Psalm 40:5 - Lord my God, no one can compare with you. You have done many wonderful things. You have planned to do these things for us. There are too many of them for me to talk about.
Job 36:24 - Remember to thank him for what he’s done. People have praised him with their songs.
Job 36:25 - Every human being has seen his work. People can see it from far away.
Job 36:26 - How great God is! We’ll never completely understand him. We’ll never find out how long he has lived.
Job 36:27 - “He makes mist rise from the water. Then it falls as rain into the streams.
Job 36:28 - The clouds pour down their moisture. Rain showers fall on people everywhere.
Job 36:29 - Who can understand how God spreads out the clouds? Who can explain how he thunders from his home in heaven?
Job 36:30 - See how he scatters his lightning around him! He lights up the deepest parts of the ocean.
Job 36:31 - The rain he sends makes things grow for the nations. He provides them with plenty of food.
Job 36:32 - He holds lightning bolts in his hands. He commands them to strike their marks.
Job 36:33 - His thunder announces that a storm is coming. Even the cattle let us know it’s approaching.
Ecclesiastes 7:24 - Whatever exists is far away and very deep. Who can find it?
Isaiah 40:28 - Don’t you know who made everything? Haven’t you heard about him? The Lord is the God who lives forever. He created everything on earth. He won’t become worn out or get tired. No one will ever know how great his understanding is.
Psalm 104:24 - Lord, you have made so many things! How wise you were when you made all of them! The earth is full of your creatures.
Romans 11:33 - How very rich are God’s wisdom and knowledge! How he judges is more than we can understand! The way he deals with people is more than we can know!
Psalm 92:5 - Lord, how great are the things you do! How wise your thoughts are!
Ecclesiastes 8:17 - I saw everything God has done. No one can understand what happens on earth. People might try very hard to figure it out. But they still can’t discover what it all means. Wise people might claim they know. But they can’t really understand it either.
John 3:8 - The wind blows where it wants to. You hear the sound it makes. But you can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going. It is the same with everyone who is born with the Spirit.”
