Numbers 11:20 - but a whole month, until it comes out your nostrils and makes you sick, because you have despised the Lord who is among you and have wept before him, saying, “Why did we ever come out of Egypt?”’”
Numbers 11:21 - Moses said, “The people around me are 600,000 on foot; but you say, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat for a whole month.’
Numbers 11:22 - Would they have enough if the flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? If all the fish of the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”
Numbers 11:23 - And the Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s hand shortened? Now you will see whether my word to you will come true or not!”
Numbers 11:24 - So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord. He then gathered seventy men of the elders of the people and had them stand around the tabernacle.
Numbers 11:25 - And the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to them, and he took some of the Spirit that was on Moses and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but did not do so again.
Deuteronomy 1:13 - Select wise and practical men, those known among your tribes, whom I may appoint as your leaders.”
1 Timothy 3:7 - And he must be well thought of by those outside the faith, so that he may not fall into disgrace and be caught by the devil’s trap.
1 Timothy 3:8 - Deacons likewise must be dignified, not two-faced, not given to excessive drinking, not greedy for gain,
1 Timothy 3:9 - holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience.
1 Timothy 3:10 - And these also must be tested first and then let them serve as deacons if they are found blameless.
1 Timothy 3:11 - Likewise also their wives must be dignified, not slanderous, temperate, faithful in every respect.
1 Timothy 3:12 - Deacons must be husbands of one wife and good managers of their children and their own households.
1 Timothy 3:13 - For those who have served well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and great boldness in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 3:14 - I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions to you
1 Timothy 3:15 - in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, because it is the church of the living God, the support and bulwark of the truth.
James 3:17 - But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.
James 3:18 - And the fruit that consists of righteousness is planted in peace among those who make peace.
