2 Corinthians 13:10 - For this reason I am writing these things while absent from you, so that when I come, I will not need to deal severely [with you], in my use of the authority which the Lord has given me [to be used] for building you up and not for tearing you down.

2 Corinthians 10:6 - being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete.

And the third captain of fifty went up and came bowed down on his knees before Elijah, and begged him [for compassion] and said to him, “O man of God, please let my life and the lives of your servants, these fifty, be precious in your sight.
2 Kings 1:14 - Behold, fire came down from heaven and consumed the first two captains of fifty with their fifties; but now let my life be precious in your sight.”
Deuteronomy 13:11 - Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and will never again do such a wicked thing among you.
Ezekiel 11:13 - Now it came about while I was prophesying, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then I fell face downward and cried out loudly, “Alas, Lord God! Will You bring the remnant of Israel to a complete end?”
